Miller Thomson was a 66th minute substitute for Falkirk who incredibly lost more ground in the title pursuit, this time losing 2-1 away to Partick Thistle, with a 97th minute goal conceded.
They remain 3 points ahead and with a superior goal difference, but Livingston have a game in hand to be played later today.
That lad is going back the way at Falkirk, I know it's difficult when teams park the bus but every pass was backwards from him.
On another note, the smell of shite from Falkirk would knock you out, surely they couldn't, could they?
Falkirk fans dont want him to put on the shirt again. its been a disaster

Lewis O'Donnell to QOS is a strange one, 19 now, if he is as good as we hear he should be going to a higher club than that. How many times has he actually played a comitative game for us ?

Might be decent enough at recruitment but as an actualy coach and tactical manager never going to be good enough IMO

If playing Brandon Forbes on the right I wouldn't put Miller Thomson in behind him as that would offer very little in the way of experience on the right flank.
Ferry is going to have to be a bit more restrained and not be too gung ho.
Grimshaw, Cleall-Harding and Forbes ? If your job was on the line ? dont think so

that was just as bad as the diddy cup last season, least then we had the excuse we played a lot of kids.

As posted a bit up the page, Goodwin isn't shy of moving a player on who he deems not good enough and that's a good approach.
Grimshaw mostly was solid, but he was limited, but played his part, so thanks and good luck.
The Morton fans were upset when he left them, it was meant to be a good signing for us, maybe he's just a better player in a team where his main job was to defend, rather than to be on the front foot?
The signing of Strain and the emergence of Miller Thompson who can fill in there if needed, suggests he'd see very little game time anyway.
I just hope he wasn't put on a decent contract, as we might struggle to shift him.
Is Goodwin ruthless ? yes
Can Goodwin set a team up to play football ? absolutely not

he has been told he is not in the managers plans and can leave.
Thompson has just had a hernia operation

I wish some of the young lads would bulk out a bit, you've got to spend an awful lot of time in the gym but I don't think many are. Silly cos there's money to be made.
Cole Palmer, Phil Foden you'd prob tell them to bulk up.
Antony Gorden actually openly states he dosnt do weights as he thinks if he gets bigger he will lose speed/Agility

Hearing Motherwell Dunfermline Ayr and Airdrie interested in Mochrie, if he signs before the end of the month would we not get any Development at all ?

Christ, we've done exactly what Goodwin said and exactly how he said he was going to do it.
Yes we did have hiccups. Who would have bet against that at start of season.
Yet some on here not backing him, and particularly pointing at Dunfermline debacle.
It happens, get over it, get real, get behind him 100%.
Put a damper on revolving door.
i'd say after that Dunfermline game 80-90% of the support wanted him sacked. Before the last Raith game there was a lot of doom and gloom with most not thinking we would beat them.
I'd say JG has almost no credit in the bank and the first sticyk patch we have the fans will turn on him.

No idea, the only difference was as far as i can see is that the owner then came over so maybe its a budget thing.

Aye he’s looked very good this year with Airdrie. Funny how him and Cammy Ballantyne - two players who were deemed not good enough for United - have been integral parts of a team who have arguably played much better football than us at times this year.
First time we played Airdrie at Tannadice, they bored the shit out of me, passing the ba about at the back from side to side, but the other three times we’ve played them they’ve looked very good.
Seems weird to say this after winning the league, but i think Airdrie have a better manager then us.

From what im hearing JG is being pretty ruthless. Makes sense I suppose if you just bring in a head of recruitment from England he's going to want to bring players in from his neck of the woods which im guessing is lower league English players.

Really should be getting rid of McMann or he should be a back up. He has been good this season. But that is his level. It is proven. How can folks forget how bad he was in top league for previous 2 years…
as well as he has done this season i dont rate him, i think he is technically poor.
