The sales in the Jerry Kerr have been quite slow. Utd are drip-feeding out the tickets one block at a time (actually, in half blocks) and there is still a whole half block nearest the Jim McLean Stand to be released, whilst the other three half blocks still have tickets left and it also appears Utd haven't actually released the three front rows in these areas (the restricted view seats). The two and a bit sections nearest the Eddie Thompson Stand have still not been released and I'm guessing only will if the demand is there, which it doesn't look like there is tbh which is a bit surprising.

Surely, punters aren't taking the huff and not going because we weren't given The Shed? No idea if that is the case but if anyone didn't go for this reason you have to question who they actually support: Dundee United FC or The Carling Stand aka The Shed?

That would leave:

Walton

Grimshaw
McClelland
Graham
Middleton

Docherty
Sibbald

Thomson/Cudjoe
Watt/Wotherspoon
Fotheringham

Moult

Subs: Newman, Cudjoe, Wotherspoon, Mochrie, Meekison, McLeod, Tilson, Grieve, Petrie/Glass.

This isn't looking at all unlikely at the moment. The wheels have come off for Scotland.

Midfield 3 of Meekison Mochrie and Sibbald tonight at least there should be some football played between the lines if the Defender are not too scared to pass it to them.

Or maybe not. Largely because Meekison and Mochrie are nothing players who should emptied at the end of thd season.

That scene was used for the Rocky vs Drago directors cut released a few years ago.

Before any proposed stadium is even considered, a suitable, workable site in Dundee would need to be found.

I don't think there's a site that works without taking up a huge chunk of Caird Park or Camperdown, even then access issues to both are very problematic and probably wouldn't be allowed.

The ideal time was when Scotland bid for 2008, it would've happened, there was a will from all parties, clubs, politicians, governing bodies, logistical issues would've been swept aside,  but the bid failed.

Neither club can afford to go solo, or even halfies on a stadium, it would be a move to a soulless privately owned stadium within a retail/housing project, where we'd be paying rent forever to investors who want a profitable return.

The land Tannadice and Dens and area, would only be used for low cost/afford housing. Given the way the housing market is, I doubt there would be any significant profit/appetite in it for any developer.

And my personal thoughts apart from I wouldn't give Dundee the steam off my pish, let alone share a stadium, is with two sets of owners from a country where sports is a franchise, where they don't understand the Scottish attachment to our clubs, a move to a shared stadium is one step closer to merger talks happening.

Amen

A new CDM would be top priority for me, followed by a striker.

When Denham goes another ch looks likely.

Ideally we could also do with a number 10, a winger and a better right back.

The right back will probably keep until the summer. A winger depends on Cudjoe's situation.

If doch and watt not fit

That's what I'd play as well. Both.

Agreed. As well as Scotland have done I do feel the team still misses a bit of craft in that number 10 position. Gauld may be that type of player. We won't know until he gets a chance.

Tbh if Docherty is still out I'd be tempted to play Grimshaw in midfield in place of Tillson.

Either that or play Glass in midfield and Grimshaw at right back.
