If it stays like that until Wednesday, I reckon it's game on.

Especially at United, standing out there not getting a pass, only getting involved to help put 10 behind the ball.

If it's fair, why is Dens still got grass on it whilst large parts of our pitch have died off? Why have council pitches around the city all got plenty of grass on them? The pitch looked rough at the Celtic game before Christmas (and the heavy rain).
The statement completely avoids the elephant in the room. The pitch doesn't look like it's been properly maintained over the course of the season either though incompetence from the groundsman or, lack of investment, or both.

Regardless of what you think of the current state of affairs at the club and who's to blame for what, the club are hardly going to put out a statement admitting fault for the state of the pitch when the weather has had a massive impact on it. Yeah, I think its obvious that the pitch has been at worst neglected or at best poorly looked after, but to expect the club to come out and point the finger at themselves isn't realistic.
I think for now, we have to accept the pitch is a mess and we have to deal with the state its in as best we can. Nothing is going to magically change it in the immediate future.

Putting covers on a pitch kills grass. The club has been trying to get games on. It’s not rocket science.

Still pissing down in Dundee. I think I've just seen the Ark floating past my window and into the distance.
I hate to dissapoint some but I couldn't see the two by two Goodwins on board.

Jim was definitely on it, it was swaying all over the place, was trying to steer from the stern when the controls for an ark are at the bow.

Thank Christ there's no an elephant in my roomÂ
Still struggle to think all things considered what more club could have said
And critically what they did say was :
" Everyone at Dundee United is focused on preparing for tomorrow night’s fixture. Should there be any change to the current position, supporters will be informed as quickly as possible through the club’s official channels."
- Bottom line.
- Didnae take Einstein.

The kiosk staff were told yesterday the game would be off and they would not be needed for work.

They might have contacted the SPFL too but it doesn't work that way.
Give it a rest.
