Re: Hibs vs United - Wednesday 4th February

No fullbacks
Loads of space in behind us on the flanks
Keresztes sleeping, thinks he's Franz Beckenbauer
No midfield
Clueless from 40 yards out

It's the same all over again.
And is dull Dave on DUTV calling our
defender Sam Clear Harding or am I hearing things?

Anyway it's groundhog day with the 343

At least get 3 in midfield and go down trying ffs

Re: Hibs vs United - Wednesday 4th February

Time for Goodwin to go. We’re nowhere near safe on 25 points.

We're finishing 11th and going down in a play-off aren't we?

Doesn't matter if they huff and puff, cunts have got no quality and even less bottle.

Too much commotion

We’re in complete free fall

I’m honestly reeling at what’s happening at the moment

Career suicide from Goodwin continuing with this 3 at the back- continuing to play certain players, I’m fucking raging

Re: Hibs vs United - Wednesday 4th February

The midfield, strikers and any kind of fluent football has been sacrificed for his precious 5 at the back to be "solid"
Yet here we are still shipping ridiculous goals all over the place.
You can put up with negative backs to the wall football if you're getting results, we look to be heading for a relegation playoff and see absolutely no improvement.
He has to go along with that Capuano prick, but they won't.

Goodwin needs wins, and a good few, very quickly or he can gtf.

This is his team, nobody elses

Doesn't help that none of them seem to have the bottle to go and attack cross balls when we are defending. We are so easy to score against regardless of who is playing at the back.

Fucking gutted.

He signed them. He chose to go down this route of filling the team with foreigners who aren’t overly bothered whether we win or lose.

Re: Hibs vs United - Wednesday 4th February

The weakest mentality i have ever seen in a United side. Genuinely a bunch of cowards who seem terrified when they get in a winning position. Just absolute gutless stuff after our 2nd goal.

We shat ourselves. Yet, again. Teams mirror their Manager, so the buck stops with Jim Goodwin for why this keeps happening.

We are an awful football side who look like we are destined for a relegation fight.

The club threw the towel in for the season by not signing a Striker in the January window.

Nikolaj Moller genuinely one of the worst footballers i've ever seen play for United. He has absolutely nothing about him. A disgrace that he starts.

Goodwin does this though, he has favourites that he stubbornly plays despite everyone seeing they're poor (Tilson, Campbell, VDS, etc etc).

Lose to Spartans on Saturday and he should do the honourable thing and resign.

If we don't beat Sparta Prague (aka Spartans) this week, I fear it might be Goodwins last game.

Re: Hibs vs United - Wednesday 4th February

Won't add any more re spineless players, stubborn management, schoolboy defending, needless fouls, i'm sure it's all been covered.

What I will say is, re their equaliser, why do teams persist in defending free kicks that'll be whipped to the back post, that could creep in if everyone misses it, on the 6 yard line, line up beyond the penalty spot, force a change of angle from the kicker.

Why would you fear it being his last game? Surely that would be the one positive if we do get beat off Spartans?

Goodwin will see the upside of it too, he’ll be able to go follow his beloved Celtic home and away. He was sat behind a Celtic supporting mate in the Bob Shankly when Celtic were at Dens earlier this season.

I never said anything on here at the time but I thought it was disgraceful for a Premiership manager to be sitting in the middle of the away end of a team you’re competing against in the same league. I’m sure Jim McLean grew up a Rangers fan. I wonder if he used to go to Ibrox and belt out the Billy boys when he got a free weekend?

Spartans have nothing to lose. If i was them I’d come and kick United off the park.

We have a team of shitebags who would hide away.

Re: Hibs vs United - Wednesday 4th February

You wonder if he's under any pressure at all, with 89 on the clock top 6, wasn't beyond the realms of possibility.

Fast forward an hour and most of us would probably take 10th if offered.

For a team that defended so well last season what the fuck has happened?

That was his biggest criticism from Aberdeen fans, he never sorted the defence and why does he mostly employ defensive tactics when we cant defend?

Re: Hibs vs United - Wednesday 4th February

'His' signings, he picks the team, formation, tactics, but his post game interview, he's fed up as us.

Never named names, but questioned the character, if we don't see a response on Saturday, if it's on, (regardless of opposition) that may indicate that there in unrest in dressing room.

I don't see him being emptied but if there's not discussions being held re him walking away in the summer, he can't do much more etc etc, we're probably in for more of the same next season.

It's not good enough, but most would accept mostly he did a decent job, but hit a wall when expectation came around, he could leave with his stock decently ok, or could hang around and be on open all mics by the tattie holidays.

If he’s here by the tatties holidays, he’ll be managing in front of an empty Tannadice. No one’s paying to watch that shit by then. They can stick their season tickets up their hoop if Goodwin’s still in charge by the time they roll them out. I’ve got better things to do with my time than watch that shite that he passes off as football. It’s meant to be entertainment at the end of the day.

Re: Hibs vs United - Wednesday 4th February

Saw the formation an hour before kick off and went to the prediction league thread and went 3-0 Hibs.

I thought we're not winning this.

We kick off, do ok initially but look wide open at the back.

I'm thinking we're not winning this.

Hibs score. I'm thinking we're definitely not winning this.

Corner, we equalise. Not from open play, from a corner.
We're level.
But I'm thinking we're not winning this.

#haddie 1 puts us ahead. In the lead! Again from a corner because let's face it when do we score a well constructed goal from open play.
1-2 United

I'm thinking we might be 2-1 up but I don't think we're winning this.

Hibs equalise.

I'm thinking we're not winning this.

Hibs score the winner.

Im thinking I was fucking right all along.
