I agree about the play offs, can't see us wining one. We generally dont play well on big occasions, going all the way back to cup finals in 80s. Plus the scheduling is heavily favored towards the 11th team in top league.

If we can get enough wins to get automatic promotion, the team need massive improvement.

Sin bin for dissent or a tactical foul - its good that they are trying to tackle these two problems. I am not sure a sin bin is the right solution, teams will just sit deep and or keep possession if they know it's only for a few minutes

Rolling subs from 18 man squad - disagree, would give the bigger clubs like the two from glasgow,even more of an advantage. I think 5 subs from a bench of 9 is already too many.

I am hoping complacency doesn't creep in, after last two results. We need to go there and win the battles and get a result, momentum is key.

I'm interested to hear from anyone who coaches or has studied data on football, on the thinking behind this tactic.

It seems obvious to me that at this level of football, we should be keeping it simple. Play the ball long to our striker, if we don't win the first ball, have players in a position to win the second ball. Even if we don't win the second ball, then we have the majority of our players behind the ball in a safe area of the pitch.
