Great result today.  First Utd goals for Spittal and big Jaro and a debut for Euan Spark.  Tremendous work all round!

Just checked, that was the season after when Flood scored a cracket and we won 3-0. Hopefully a similar result today.

Did we not give them a bit of a doing under Levein through there around 2007? I think it was memorable for being one of the few occasions when Steven Robb was a) fit and b) took a game.

08 LC final was brutal. Sheep away when we got all but sent down was worst feeling ever. 87  v St Mirren was even worse. This years sc defeat was the only cup final where Ive been angry more than disappointed, mainly that we didnt learn from a game about 4 weeks before and were shite.

My wife says I've not aged a day since we met ;-) . Felt a bit nostalgic right enough.

Paddy for me too. On form he was electrifying. Ask anyone who was in their teens in the early 90's who their fave Utd player was and I guarantee Paddy will at the top of the list. Him and drunken Duncan were some pairing, with Scott Crabbe and Michael O'Neill wide, Badger and Psycho in midfield. Pretty sure he got injured in the cup final season then broke his ankle early the next season against Celtic and was out for ages. He was never the same player again, losing a yard of pace and also appeared really wary of going into challenges. He was the type of player who took loads of punishment too. A modern day comparison to Paddy in terms of style would probably be Johnny Russell.

Have a bad feeling this could bite us on the backside if Graham starts scoring for them given that they are probably our main rivals to finish 3rd (assuming the sheep finish 2nd). Him not playing against us will only have a minimal effect on this. Would have preferred him to go out to a Hamilton or a Killie.

Just finished 'Oasis and Me' by Tony McCarroll. Good read, some hilarious stories. Tell you what though, what a pair of cunts Noel Gallagher and Guigsy were. Liam actually comes out of it pretty well.
Moving onto 'Adventures in Britpop' by Louise Wener.

Her off of Four Rooms on Channel 4.  Celia Sawyer.  Hmm, hard paper round or bang tidy for her age?? Real borderline one for me, but I still would.

In the flesh, Barca at Tanny. Scottish team, Aberdeen in the 80's or Celtic under Martin O'Neill. On TV Spain in Euro 2008 or Milan in the late 80's.

Salmond clear winner. Buuut, Glen Campbell's failure to do anything about Salmond basically shouting Darling down when Darling was supposed to be asking the questions was poor stuff. Salmond clever, constant focus on Tory Party policy forcing Darling to either defend the indefensible or say fuck all really other than a future Labour govt would do x and y. Darling clearly doesnt know anything about Scottish Parliament goings on. He could have countered a lot of this by calling out Salmond on Police Scotland, armed Police on the streets and CfE's farcical implementation.
