A great game to watch last night and a superb win in a game we'd have lost under Burley and Levein.

Thought Ireland were nothing more than a long-ball outfit with hammerthowers all over the park. Football from the dark ages. 

Am I the only one who thought Andy Robbo did not have his best game last night??  First half more than the second half, mind you.  Thought he was panicky in possession and kept passing the buck, especially the moment when Hanley got caught out. Attacking wise he got up and down well but could have offered a bit more in terms of his final pass or cross. He did keep McGeady on the back foot and defended well though so I suppose it was job done.  I think knowing what he is capable of means I am quite hard on him even now.

Superb goal. We will gub them away from home.

Kennedys 4-4-2 is well worth a shot in some games but I'd have wee Connolly in for Spittal and possibly Dillon for Watson.

I think he's done pretty well, he's better defensively than going forwards. He showed more willingness to go forwards last week but his final ball and finishing were rotten. He's not Andy Robertson, but thankfully he's not Barry Douglas either. I'd keep him but like to see a young lb signed as cover.

About 2007.  One of a few Scottish comedies given an airing following the last series of Still Game.  Another one was 'Dear Green Place' which had its moments but was a really slow burner (it got a second series which was pish if I remember). 'Legit' didn't get a second series even though it was the better of the two.  It was written by the two guys who did Burnistoun.  Episode 2, 3 and 4 of 'Legit' were really good whereas episodes 1, 5 and 6 were pretty so-so.




 

Still would for old times sake.
