Yes on peanuts, otherwise a wage better spent elsewhere on someone more reliable.

Every club is in the same boat when it comes to these positions. It's a career ladder.

The Docherty situation is extremely frustrating as we've basically had a Docherty-roled hole in the team every time he's not playing.

Big task is to solve that problem, whether it's getting the man himself regularly available, or bringing in an able replacement.

We'll have played 1 game in nearly 4 weeks by the time we go to Dingwall. Got to be fully energized and ready for the battle.

Could do much worse than Love is in the Air and Beautiful Sunday. Sunshine on Leith is an awful football song, more suited to going into administration than winning.

Still scunnered by this. Complete capitulation from Goodwin.

The 2nd half is a prime example of why i have never really taken to Jim Goodwin.

When it's 'make or break' and everything's on the line, he'll always, ALWAYS show caution and go defensive.

A loser mentality.

What would you have done differently?

Useful to look at this from Thelin's perspective at half time.

United have been able to get at our defence, and we've looked vulnerable at crosses. And we need two goals to get something from the game.

We need United to stop attacking from wide, and we need to create as many opportunities as we can to score, without getting exposed because we need to push men forward.

Goodwin perfectly obliged by pulling Middleton and Trapanovski into defensive roles, stopped attacking from wide, abandoned the middle of the park, left Dalby on his tod so we couldn't get out, and allowed Aberdeen to siege the box entire half.

Thelin couldn't have asked for a more accommodating approach from Jim.

We could instead have kept the pressure on their dodgy defence and put them to the sword.

Very poor strategy from Goodwin second half. Begging to escape with the draw.

He has got a lot right this season Jim but last night was utter stinking for almost 70 minutes largely due to his tactics.

Deserves a fair amount of criticism.

Aye but should also get credit for the rest of the game where we battered them. We win that 8 out of 10.

He waited till the 70th minute which was too late, he makes those subs on the 60th minute and we would’ve got at least extra time.

We still should have got at least extra time, Dundee were very fortunate. However poor folk think Goodwin's tactics and subbies were, we're still winning that 8 out of 10.

Thought we played very well in the 2nd half near total domination, just couldn't get the ball over the line.

Interestingly speaking to a neutral who understands the game very well and was at the game.  His view was that Odada was 'competent and played well against arguably the best three midfielders in the league'.  He did however question where we got vdS from! And not in a positive way.

By the way I'm not suggesting for a minute that the jury is not still out on Odada, but more that we are potentially too quick to write him off.  Albeit I understand the sentiment.

Van der Sande has little end product anywhere on the park. Frustrating as he competes very well.

Odada looks terrified and shot of any and all confidence. There might well be a player in there but he needs a lot of work on the training ground and things to start going right in games.

Near enough all left footers are completely hopeless with their right. It’s strange how it doesn’t work the other way as much, but that’s a known thing in football that lefties right foot’s are just for standing on.

Can attest. Beaut of a left foot, but my right-foot is like a dangling appendage when it comes to kicking and tackling.

Re the co-commentators.  I was over in Germany for a week and watched a couple of games in our hotel.  Whatever German channel it was on they only had a commentator, no co-commentator; I obviously could not understand them but got me thinking how refreshing it would be to go back to just having a commentator and not have some wittering half-wit making a comment about every other thing that happens.

Should have the option to mute either or both commentators.

That was probably our strongest possible squad selected today and they/Jim still couldn't find a win when it mattered.

I don't think we're winning this league
