Aye very good, he's put in a decent 20 minute performance and now he's the Messiah.
Time will tell who's right.

Sounds very much like you want him to fail, each to their own I guess. Personally I hope he shuts the doubters up.

It was just a cheeky wee dig bringing it up mate. Didnt want to cause any issues.
I'm sure you are delighted as anyone when he popped that in but from the 2nd half of your message it sounds like you will be glad if he does fail. Strange... BUT enough of that, he changed the game for us yesterday and his clever link up play is massively underrated. He'll be a big play for us, I'm sure of it.

If he performs like that then I'll hold my hands up but I'm positive MM is looking for someone better to play up top.
Also it's when Clark plays this 'false 10' role that I hate, he can't do it, if he's not good enough to play up front then bench him.

I think you only need to look at how badly we tailed off last season once he got injured. We missed him badly and I am confident he will play a big role this season so long as he stays fit.

Important member of the squad. Won’t play every week and I think he understands that, but yesterday was very well managed, Appere worked the defence for an hour (something Clark couldn’t have done), then Clark comes on finds space against a tired defence and shows a killer instinct (something Appere possibly wouldn’t have done). Good management, everyone contributes, players happy, Mellon happy, fans happy!

Spot-on.
Can i just add young Louis isn't getting much love from our support at the moment but he is putting in a shift up front on his own and giving of his best.
At just 20 years old and in only his 2nd season as a Pro it's a tough ask. He'll get better. He has showed us enough in flashes previously to suggest he has real quality about him.

Agreed Tek. He is doing his best work off the ball at the moment. His GPS numbers must be fucking mental. Once we are a bit more settled and Shanks is back the pressure will be off him and he will improve. I still think his best position is drifting out to the left in a front 2. If we see him in that kind of position a few times then he'll show again what he is all about.
I think McMullan coming back will be a great addition to this team. His pace (maybe on the left?) With Bolton on the right and Shankland through the middle would be exciting away from home especially on the counter attack.

Well worth pointing that out Tek
Apperre is giving his all in a very difficult loan striker role.
His body language is excellent no tantrums or waving his arms about when asked to chase down some rather poor passes (shite really).
He can become a very useful asset for UTD

Staying up is of course the most important thing this season but provided we do that we could end up with a really good team next year with Micky giving youth a chance.
A different level of course but Chelsea are a great example of youth getting its chance albeit due to different circumstances. Some of their young players are really going to kick on next season with a season behind them and hopefully ours will too.

Young Louis - impresses week in week up for all aforementioned reasons and more. Raring to see him`n Shanks.

Rangers fans on twitter saying we are taking Jamie Murphy on loan. As long as we aren't paying all of his wages I think that would be a good result.

I'm trying to remember him so turned to Wicki.
- age 30, winger, 5'10"
- M'well, Sheff Utd, Brighton, The Rangers
- a hat-trick in a Euro Lge game with M'well
- Scottish caps x 2
- looks like a bit of a ned

7 goals in 10 games on loan at Burton Albion.
But did Sevco not already refuse to do business with us?

I think that was a misinterpretation of Scott Burns' words. Mind reading it and thinking that doesn't mean what some folk have taken from it.
But is Jamie Murphy a likely target, given his age, and likely costs?

Ah right haven't seen the direct quote from Scott Burns and was just going off what folk had said.

I'll start a rumour. Mikey devlin - likely to be sacked by aberdeen to sign. Great at Hamilton, hasn't really done it at the dons but still a good age
No inside knowledge...just a guess

I recall Burns wrote something like 'Rangers won't do business with United' as a direct reply to someone who asked a question about Jordan Jones, which I reckoned meant that particular piece of transfer speculation wasn't likely, rather than a downright refusal of the Ibrox side to ever have any dealing with United: to me, that wouldn't make much sense.

It's a good rumour, which I'll add to by saying he's pals with Mark Reynolds, and both lived close to each other in Motherwell.

Daily Ranger and Courier saying Murphy not happening but Courier saying we are still working on a deal for Norwood.
