Just watched it too and I take it he is getting to a stage where no player is guaranteed a start and this is a good thing as players need to show they are worth a start.

It's clear the full backs are no getting forward enough with Robertson being away and Keith being out the picture. This leading to the sitting roles of Paton and Rankin giving little or no impact to the midfield.

Think he will go:

                       Rado

McGowen  Morris  Fojut   Dillon

                Paton  Telfer

Spittal        Armstrong        GMS

                       Nads

The Star wars prequels get a bad rep, unfairly IMO.

Episode 1 was a bit slow but in a six part story you need to build the foundations.

Attack of the clones & Revenge of the sith were both excellent and bang on form.

I have to agree 100% on that. Especially Revenge of the Sith. First 20 minutes were some of the best action in any Star Wars films. The Phantom Menace had the best lightsaber battle in all the films and Attack of the Clones had Yoda fighting.

It is what it is, and as I've said before the prequels weren't made for adults who grew up on the original trilogy, it was for the new generation of kids, and how many kids do you know that loves them films, they are daft about them.

The reason the new film looks so good is because it seems to have taken into consideration the older audience who grew up with the originals.

You may well be correct, it was thon floppy eared thing that killed it for me in the first film! Don't think I have watched them again since they came out. Maybe time to give them another try prior to the new one in December.

Dowser has been missing from top team action for a while now and the likes of Connelly, Telfer have pushed past him. Thoughts on where he goes?

It's difficult not to compare him to Robertson so really he was always gonna fall short, i think he is of the same standard as Douglas, not great, but not the worst. Maybe if the laddie was no playing next to the softest centre half combo's in the league he'd be showing more!

The semi final is now everything, we won't finish second and third might be a stretch now too, which is poor considering the talent in our team.

I'd actually prefer that we sold Armstrong and GMS now, providing we could spend some money on our defence.

Get in O'Donnell, Dixon, a centre half, and a goalkeeper now. Try and win both cups and start next season with a solid foundation.

Jackie can talk about mental strength until he's blue in the face, I don't think you can teach that on the training ground, if our players don't have it then get rid of them.

I don't like slagging players off but Rado, Watson and Rankin are hindering us.

100% in agreement Andy! Although Armstrong was about the only pass mark last night until Telfer came on!

If we were to get say £2.5 bank £1.5 and spend some cash on decent level players!!

Totally agree about Fojut, either he's injured or he is just stinking as some of the body positions he gets into beggars belief. Off balance wild swings at the ball! As I said at half time soft as shite at the back. If Armstrong goes we desperately need to splash some serious cash on a couple of centre backs who can actually defend.

We are powder puff at the back, look like conceding every attack! Great goal to get back into it. Buckle in people here we go again!!!

Not sure exactly but it certainly seems to have been constant over the past couple of months!
TV companies want to show good attacking football so it's a no brainer we are the best going forward on our day!

ye TEK sell on clause is a must for Armstrong as those bastards could sell a turd for no less that 6 million to England whereas we're lucky to get £2.5million for the best young talent in the country!

Honestly think that any offer from them would spark English teams into action and we will be off down south!

Bugger it! I have always questioned why the players and keepers are allowed to practice shooting before games into the goals as it churns up the area! Surely we could wheel out a couple of goals for this to be done elsewhere??
