Have you been in a Fucking coma fae January Jackie?
On a more serious note, I have a bit of sympathy for him and any other player or manager when it all gets personal. I hate when the name calling etc starts, it's unfair imo. I want him and the other 3 out asap but that doesn't make them clowns, Dicks,or wankers. Must be pretty hurtful to read or hear about yourself getting referred to like that when all you're doing is trying to do your best.
THIS! I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks the same after reading that.

I totally back the Fed 100% on this. We can't just bury our heads in the sand like the majority of our support is doing and think everything is fine when it really isn't.
My head is far from buried but I'm also not just going to follow the federation blindly like a sheep.
I know most of the folk who are in the Fed and they aren't doing it because they are out to cause bother or whatever but because they care about the club. If the questions aren't asked now then when should they be asked? Also are we ever going to hear anything from United? I'm surprised they haven't released another statement saying we should basically be grateful for getting to cup finals etc and not question what is happening at Tannadice.

Majority? That's a bold generalization.
And a wrong one, in my opinion.
I say majority as on other forums etc, the people who are voicing their concerns are being labeled as the minority.

Copy of Press Statement to appear in tonight's Tully...It’s perhaps the biggest understatement in Scottish football right now to say these are troubled times at Dundee United.Despite the Tangerines being a club that’s held up as a model for others to follow, all is not well at Tannadice. The relationship between the club board and the Federation of Dundee United Supporters Clubs, who represent a number of rank and file Arabs, is to say the least strained. But there are also frustrations with how the team has been performing and just five wins from 23 competitive games dating back to early February has left some supporters at the end of their tether. The second-half of Saturday’s crushing 4-0 defeat at Hamilton saw chants from the away end for manager Jackie McNamara to go though it should be noted this is not want the Federation are pushing for.The chants could be portrayed as a knee jerk reaction to an afternoon to forget, however fans group The Federation DUSC have serious concerns about the direction in which the club as a whole is heading believes it would be foolish to think that way.The Federation believes the time for answers from the Club are long overdue.“In our opinion It’s not a knee jerk reaction, definitely not. We wish you had spoken to us before then (Saturday), after a good result, because we would be saying the same things. The concerns have been there for years now.“From an on-field Football perspective the thing about Saturday was it was no surprise. With such a young and inexperienced team you know there are going to be off days. You never know when they are coming exactly but watching such a young team you knew it was possible.
If we win one or two we could be buzzing again but lose a couple with such a young squad there could be difficult times lying ahead , however it is Jackie’s team now and he still reportedly has a good playing budget in comparison to the rest of the League and must take a degree of responsibility despite losing

Bit dismayed tbh that folk seem quick to 'pick holes' in what you're saying or even worse other Arabs ridiculing your efforts (not on here).Poor stuff IMO.
The atmosphere during run of the mill games has been terrible for years.
Here we have a group of young guys trying admirably to do something about it and yet other Utd fans seem quick to rubbish it.
We really do have some miserable bastards in our support.Agree wi Tek. Best of luck to yi's, Eh'd be mare inclined to sit with you's if you were in the Shed or something. Sat in the GFL in meh youth and can honestly say Eh'll never sit there again.

I reckon there are enough young fans who would enjoy being part of this, they just maybe need a bit of encouragement, perhaps there will be a tipping point in a match, or in numbers which will see this becoming a success. Best of luck from me, anyway.

Why? Because he became ill? Seen him in the Netherlands for the two games he played and looks a decent player.
Many minutes did he play?
No sure, canna mind guessing about 45 of one and about 75 of the other.

Until there is a recognised 'Safe Standing Area' as like the seats/standing being installed in some grounds throughout Europe I cannot help but think your doomed to fail. People have season tickets in that section and have done for many years and you coming on sayiny they should be in ther JK cos there is empty seats is bullsh*it. I witnessed Tuesday night and people saying to sit down were met with abuse and it looked like offers or a 'square go' certainly not the was to endear yourselves to the long sitting ST holders in the locale.
That said I do wish you well in your endeavours!!

"Selling our seats" wtf there not your seats the are Dundee Uniteds seats to sell. Imo you do not come across well on these message boards far too quick to jump down people's throats when you don't agree with them. Not gonna get more people when your acting like that.Never jump down anybody's throat mate. Think this thread has went off topic now, was meant to be about the group and not about myself.
You do and as the spokesperson for your group you represent it and Imh your not doing a good job. I have saw you on other boards wanting people's seat number because they have disagreed with you.
Haha no i asked for the boys seat number so I could tell him if he was in that section or not. If you don't like me then that's fair enough. I came on here to start with to provide information and to answer peoples questions. If you look back the whole thread you will see I have never had an argument or " jumped down somebody's throat" as you seem to think I do. I am a very open minded person and listen to others peoples opinions and everybody is entilted to one.
Anyway back onto the subject of the group. We will try and resolve these issues and hopefully things will improve going forward. It is still early days and the potential for the group is there. Currently we have more numbers than what the Motherwell Bois had when they started.

Alot more than is in your group at the minute if people want to sit in it the club will sell them tickets in it whether they are part of your group or no they wont turn paying fans away fr9m that section if nowhere near full from you guys
i think it works out at about 120 that whole section. It's fact that the jerry kerr was near empty that was the most annoying thing. If every seat in that was full then id understand selling our seats.
