Dundee United » Falkirk v Utd - Saturday 16th September (3pm) » 14/9/2017 11:49 am |
Smeddum is without question the biggest head in the sander we have in our support, it was tge same under JM and his dreamboy Mixu.
I have heard first hand there is no harmony in the dressing room , many players are unhappy at being played out of position or not at all and the tactics they are forced to play.
I doubt Ray can withstand the usual league pumping at Falkirk this weekend
Dundee United » McKinnon patronising the support » 14/9/2017 11:36 am |
Mckinmong is a man out of his depth his brand of football and now bullshit interviews prove it beyond all doubt.
A dozen games and training at excellent facilities yet we look like a team that was assembled about 2.40 on match day
Getting the piss ripped out of us at tannadice from part timers is an all time low

The team appears to lack fitness.
The players generally look short of strength.
Several of the recent signings have ongoing injury issues.
The tactics are puerile.
All the above are down to the manager.
Yet we probably can't afford to cut him loose.Z can we afford to keep him though?
Exactly my thoughts, keeping him and letting him stumble on could be the end for us

Bloody hell

What is the injury to Keatings?
Dundee United » THE NEXT BIG BREAKTHROUGH » 09/6/2017 9:33 am |
I really don't see anyone from that list having any impact next season unfortunately
Dundee United » Next season » 09/6/2017 9:31 am |
We need improved all over the park next season
The fullbacks didn't do enough going forward this season
The midfield couldn't go away from home and strangle the game resulting in us not losing
No width or pace,,,,,,enough said
The forwards weren't clinical enough or technically good enough holding the ball up and linking the play
At least the first two signings would appear to be of the right kind, long closed season ahead though
Dundee United » Kyle Knoyle » 05/6/2017 5:19 pm |
Not sure about What sort of salary he'd command but if we could afford him I'd take him in a heartbeat
Dundee United » Grant Holt » 05/6/2017 11:44 am |
Fuck that
Dundee United » Willo dud » 05/6/2017 11:41 am |
I feel Willo should leave to be honest, just because he loves the club isn't a reason for him staying....Sean Dillon all over again
Dundee United » Wato Kuate wanted Utd to lose at Accies » 01/6/2017 12:01 pm |
Wato is just another addition to the tannadice freak show of the last 3 years, its amazing how we keep finding these gems
Dundee United » Blair Spittal » 01/6/2017 11:58 am |
I keep changing my mind about him, probably best he leaves tbh
Dundee United » Dillo Away » 01/6/2017 11:57 am |
Good news
Dundee United » End of season review 16/17 » 30/5/2017 5:20 pm |
Player of the year easily Cammy Bell as Tony faded badly when it mattered.
Young player would be Robson but being honest I thought he was pretty dire after he got dropped unfairly
Most improved is easily Durnan but I fear this is his level not the SPL
Worst was Toshney........the fact we paid for him makes my blood boil
Best game was the triple penalty save win at Dunfermline, good day on the bevvy as well
Worst part of the season was the performance of McKinnon, I really dont have anything good to say about him from signings, tactics, , style of play to the incredible decision not to freshen up the team in the 2nd half on sunday when our season was on the line.
I really hoped he'd be punted as I'm not fancying him signing another 8 players after the last two transfer windows.
His shite football drove fans away from tannadice towards the end of the season and it's a big ask for those guys to all start coming back again.
Dundee United » United v Accies, Thursday 25th May » 26/5/2017 10:51 am |
Got a lot of sympathy for the boy, yes he was wrong etc but like Tek said surely that can't spell the end fof him!
He was very poor though last night and I'd have subbed him at HT for Telfer.
We are beating them on sunday I'm 100% positive

another excellent offer from the chairman letting bygones be bygones. Will the fed accept it?
The only buses he should be paying not subsidising are the away buses who go week in week out like the Snug, A90, Rock, SAS etc those boys deserve a freebie not the come out the woodwork boys
Dundee United » Falkirk v DUFC - Friday 19th May 7.45pm » 17/5/2017 11:08 am |
We're really up against it now with the fitness of our squad, VDS is fit but he's fallen out with McKinnon so can Ray be the bigger man or play the horrendous Dillon again?
Whatever team starts in Friday we MUST start well and push Falkirk back and not concede early or I really fear a right battering like the last league game
Dundee United » Dundee United v Falkirk » 16/5/2017 10:48 pm |
First goal is crucial on friday, we must get it or face another ass whipping through there
Dundee United » Andy Robertson to Liverpool » 15/5/2017 5:58 pm |
Tangy have you missed all the borrowing lately just to see the season out?
It's crystal clear we are heading to administration like a runaway train unless the sell on clauses come to fruition.
Andy Robertson will on stabilise us short term huge financial cut backs are required, the party needs to be ended at Tannadice.
Dundee United » Dundee United v Falkirk » 15/5/2017 5:12 pm |
I've erased both away games from my memory
Hopefully we can go there with a lead but it's not the be all if we don't
Dundee United » Andy Robertson to Liverpool » 15/5/2017 5:00 pm |
The fact we are on the brink of administration if a player sell on clause doesn't come in shows ST isn't fit to be at the helm of our club, our business model shouldn't be praying for sell on clauses we should be self sufficient with our fan base but we have lived outwith our means for years.
IMO Thompson has to leave as he's lost a large chunk of the fans so a fresh start is needed ASAP.
It's absolutely criminal we are in debt considering all the transfers of our best players, if we were at least stable and rebuilding the team it would a bit of comfort.
Dundee United » Andy Robertson to Liverpool » 15/5/2017 2:07 pm |
It will be great if any of our ex players get sold on because it will stabilise the club, but it doesn't hide the fact that ST has taken the club from joint 2nd top and cup finals to being on the brink of administration in 3 years with no plan to get out the shite other than praying for sell on clauses.
It will give him at least another season in charge at Tannadice unfortunately
Dundee United » Dundee United v Falkirk » 15/5/2017 2:01 pm |
Does Ray try and get a good win at home or play it cagey for the return leg that's his big decision, I'd like to see us really try and rip Falkirk apart tomorrow night personally and not take advantage of a home game and hopefully a noisy crowd.
Dundee United » Blair Spittal » 12/5/2017 12:46 pm |
The Spittal conundrum really sums up what we are all about, he scores two goal after going a whole year without scoring and the debate begins.
Has he had plenty chances to prove he's got it?.....yes
Has he shown real desire to make himself a regular? No
His best asset is sticking to his task defensively but he really doesn't cut the mustard in the opposition half!
The fact he's still only 21 is a plus though,I would give him one more deal but the wage must be realistic.
Edit
Young players never do well in struggling teams
