Picking Poty this year is an almost impossible task. No one has had a great season, quite a few have been good in spells but no one has been that consistent over any length of time.
As frustrating as he's been would prob have said Ciftci.

Final ball was the only negative yesterday mate, games and understanding will improve this.

Just watched the goal again from yesterday: the build up shown is of Ciftci passing to Souttar who plays a fine long ball. But I seem to mind Souttar was back near the tunnel on his own line, and played it to Ciftci who held it up for a time until Souttar made ground to receive the pass in space.
Is that what happened or is it just my imagination...... running wild?
Souttar on his own goal line won the ball, played it to Ciftci, took the return at the centre circle ( longest 1 -2 ever) then played that pass.
Possibly our goal of the season?

Tragic for anyone to go through something like this.

Yep, same team for me, 3rd place still very much alive, need to win this one tho. If Spittal doesnt make it would be happy to see Smith start, not sure if Butchers available either.

Mention for Scott Smith also, only played 10 mins, but slotted in like a regular. Good to see our own youngsters getting a chance again.

Souttar was motm easily.

Good performance, wheres that team been hiding for 3 months?
The number of times the final ball let us down tho, could have been a few more easily. Aberdeen did have chances too, but overall a deserved win.
Souttar was exceptional, thats the player he can be, he's got it all.

Vote away tonight. Away on hols for election day. Hopefully return to the tories out of power and a very large number of snp mps.
In regards the referendum, best thing snp can do is forget it, the more the rest of them keep treating us like 2nd class britons, the referendum will be forced on them by the people. 10-15yrs from now we'll be independent and itll be thanks to the tories/ ukip etc.

Every day just now I'm hearing a new story out of Tannadice, and each one makes me shake my head. Getting ridiculous the way things are going. I have never been one to call for managers to go, but there has to be change now.

Priorities are all wrong in my opinion, instead of lobbing bigmoney on 3 year deals on players coming in that no one has even watched. The priority should be players already here, its fukin scandalous that Soutar is only got a year to go nhis contract aged18. Boy is absolute dynamite, although I think a lot of United fans dont even realise it.
Spot on, best player at the club and it would appear the management dont even realise it, never mind the fans.

I have no axe to grind v Motherwell but if it's a choice between them or Hibs then I'd plump for Hibs tbh. Easier to get too and decent day out
All true, but hibs will be more likely to keep the huns down another year.
Lesser Teams » Motherwell F.C » 26/4/2015 3:51 pm |
They're in a bad way with little sign of it changing, 2 years down their and they'll be part time at best. Shame really decent club on the whole. Hope they stay up, unless they're playing QOTS, keep hibs and huns where they are.

Yet again Brown gets away with one. Until we get honest referees in this country whats the point?
As for the performance, far better on the whole, young lads leading the way, also Rado had a couple of great stops.

Def voting snp, they may have a chance of ousting lib dems in NE Fife this time.
I still wish the labour party existed though or would be voting for them, this tory copycat party we have using the labour name does my head in.

The size of the league makes no difference if only two teams can win it. Its now 30 years since a team outside of the bigot brothers won the league, how far does this have to go 40,50,60 years before the fans of the other 40 teams get together and demand change. How about fans refusing to attend bigot brother games while still giving thier gate money to thier clubs. Its time to stand up to these ( insert uncomplimentarty adjective).
Thing is, like it or not, the reality is its not those 2 clubs fault they are successful. The rest of the clubs will never be able to compete financially with them. There are also a number of things that the other clubs along with the SFA/SPL have allowed these 2 clubs to dictate over the years to keep them happy.
What needs to happen is football needs to change, money has killed the game we knew as a sport. I say let the clubs with the money go play together in some sort of european league for smaller countries, while the rest of us get on with fixing scottish football.
No live tv games, Saturday 3pm, reasonable gate prices, drink in parts of the ground, summer football, clubs living within their means and most of all a competitive league clubs can win will get people coming back through the gates.

See this, has anyone really watched our warm ups, some of them completely just go through the motions, week after week the same boys put no effort in, the same boys who are always struggling for fitness. Can only assume that its the same at St Andrews as it never changes at games.
Then you've got that pathetic routine before the second half, embarassing, professional fitness coach????
If the management cant get players to do a decent warm up, its no wonder our injury record is so bad, and says a lot about their managerial ability.
Dundee United » Bigger League? » 17/4/2015 9:18 pm |
Doesnt matter what size the league is, it needs to be competitive. 11 teams started a 38 game league this season knowing they wouldnt win it, thats the problem.
Lesser Teams » Sporting Integrity & The SPFL » 16/4/2015 5:22 pm |
Its things like this that are the reason crowds are poor. Just fucking people about, moving fixtures 2 weeks before the game is too late.
Really wish we could tell the tv companies to bolt and go without it.
That and getting rid of the OF would get the crowds back up at every other club, premier league teams because there's a chance of winning the league, lower league teams would benefit from no football on the telly.
