If there is then that is 2k+ more than i thought would be when the date/ko time was announced.Yeah, we're hearing good figures which is brilliant but I simply don't see where 8,000 is coming from.
I'll take <7,000. You have >7,000.
Double or quits.
Payday today for a lot of folk . It's a home cup quarter final remember. Course more folk will come out.
Hope you're right B&T.
Not often you catch me negative.
I thought Emil Lyng was good

Less than 400 tickets left for the Shed... amazing. Will that mean over 1000 Utd fans in the Shed?

The 2 sections nearest the Jerry Kerr stand are not being opened in shed.
Just under 7000 utd end sold so far.

There will be a flag display in both the east and west stands before the Dundee Utd V Inverness. With a large crowd expected we would ask if everyone can make it to the stadium a little earlier.

Over 7000 sold as off 1 hour ago. Online sales continue at cheaper prices until midnight.

Well that was terrible. We were never in the game.
Full focus on the league now but we need to be much much better if we have any real chance of promotion either automatic or through the playoffs.
Also yet another big game that we don't turn up. Zero bottle.

Deserved nothing, got nothing. Another big game let down. Feel for all those who bought tickets

We got exactly what we deserved.
We were garbage. Utter garbage. Clueless.
If that's testimony to Robbies coaching skills then it worries me.

Unable to handle a big physical team. Once you lose the physical battle youre well on your way to losing the game.
Butcher was a big miss, but a number of players were pish today.

I think to just call Inverness a 'big physical team' is doing them a slight injustice.
They played us off the park today.
Better in every department.

No doubt Inverness were the better team however they totally dominated Utd physically this allowed them to get time on the ball ,pick passes and look a decent team.
A good side would have scored 4 or5 against us today

That was a disgrace of a 'performance' today. It's left me really angry to be quite honest (not for the first time this season).
Arabphobia makes a point of saying that the supporters need to get behind the players in numbers and voice.
Well we did that today. There was also the touching tribute to the young Utd fan who tragically passed away far too young.
And what do the fans get back? Nothing. Let down, once again.
I can accept losing if we have a right go and are simply beaten by a better team. As long as we leave it 'all out there'.
But we never laid a glove on them today.
Simply not good enough. Nowhere fucking near it in fact.

Very disappointed no just in the result, but in the performance. Like Tuesday found the game very frustrating. We were no world-beaters. (ball control - yuch !) Inverness were the better team. True they had a height advantage, even Donkeyson is 2" bigger than Safranko, but they were also faster than us esp. on the break. I'm sure it was roondaboot the 26th min before we even managed an attempt on goal. 2 attempts on target for the whole match FFS !
As soon as McMullan came on, he was causing trouble for Inverness. Think it was him that drew the Pen. He shoulda been on much earlier, or from kick-aff. He certainly improved things a bit. We upped our game a but after the Pen, but it was just no enough. Also think that bringing Gomis on wasna the answer. Hoped Neilson would bring Nesbitt on for 10 mins or so, but in the end, don't think it woulda changed the result much.
The ICT goal-kick that never was, and the the foul on Gomis which was given against us shortly after, indirectly led to their 2nd goal.
The only extremely minor consolation that comes from this henceforth in this Competition, is that its no us that'll get pumped 5-0 by the Mings or the M0ngs or the Sheep or the Jambos.

Siegrest - 6/10 - Generally did 'ok' today. Still looks a bit shaky at crosses though. Once he came out in complete no-man's land when Reynolds (I think it was) had it covered. But his header was weak and only broke to a Caley player who could have chipped Siegrest due to him being way off his line.
Seaman - 6/10 - Mixed day for the young man today. Tried to get forward once or twice. But caught out of position once also.
Connolly - 5/10 - Thought him and Reynolds looked a bit shaky at times today tbqh. Both lost the odd aerial challenge and were caught out of position on occasion also.
Reynolds - 5/10 - See above.
Robson - 6/10 - Was 'ok'. Nothing more, nothing less.
Pawlett - 5/10 - Completely flattered to deceive for me. Which is pretty much how I feel about him as a player full-stop. Never beat a man all day long.
Cammy Smith - 5/10 - See above
Harkes - 6/10 - One of our better players. At least looked to stretch the play and get it wide on occasion. Too quiet overall though. But not helped by the 3 playing beside him.
Fyvie - 4/10 - Slow, ponderous and always looking to pass the ball sideways or backwards 5 yards. A waste of a jersey.
Clark - 6/10 - Took a good penalty (again). But the game passed him by other than that.
Safranko - 5/10 - The guy has scored a few goals for us,granted, but I don't quite rate him as highly as others. His general first touch and ability to hold the ball up and link the play too often seems poor to me.
Subs -
Gomis - 5/10 - Contributed nothing when he came on. Was the wrong substitution imo (should have brought on Stanton). He summed up the ineptitude of our play in the final minute. Had the ball and just had to shell it into their box (where we had several players lurking) but instead he tamely hit the ball off of a Caley player about 5 yards in front of him and surrendered possession at the worst possible time.
McMullan - 6/10 - Sparked us a bit when he came on and also looked to have a wee bit more fire about him than others (liked him trying to gee up the Shed). Good shot at goal that Safranko and Pawlett made a hash of putting in on the rebound. Won us the penalty (though it was very soft imo) and generally looked at least interested.
P.s. where was Osman Sow today?
