This is an ICT team that rarely lose games. Lost less games than Ayr this season if i remember right. Ross county couldnt beat ICT over 180 mins last week and we are moaning that we only beat them 1-0? Yes not the most fluid performance but that was down to their awful delaying tactics that were in place from minute 1. Back 5 were all excellent tonight. A few bits of better decision making and we are 2/3 up after 15 mins. Canna believe people want to come on here and moan after such a massive win. All i thought was i canna wait to get back here on Sunday.

Re: DUFC versus ICT - Tuesday 26th Feb (7.45pm)

Found much of the gehm very frustrating TBH. We were on the up for the 1st 20 mins as a couple of folk have sayed - we had 3 attempts on goal in the 1st 8 mins, Pawlett x2 , Seaman, and thought we should been up at half-time. We made some great moves, 1-2s etc that coulda worked but they didn't.

Then it kinda went into a slumber mode. There were a few things that made it difficult for ourselves. Our passing at crucial times, was not precise enough, and this ended up givin the ball away - opportunities lost. We were givin Icy Tea far too much space and too much time on the ball, without challenging. Our finishing is still a problem - partly because when there is an opportunity to shoot, we pass to the left or right instead (Harkes near the end FFS).

An old sore. WTF was nae chunt up at the half-weh line when ICT had their coarners - 5 phuckin times. I mean McMullan's no gonna stop a cross comin in is he? Again, me thinks a couple oe opportunities lost.

Improvement when Nesbitt came on, think it was him that drew the foul for the Pen.

Great Pen fae Clark, but dinna think he was in the game so much last night. There was a 10 min period in the 1st half when he never touched the ba.

Dinna think Pawletts tackle was malicious. Happened right in front of me. He put his knee into McFattie, who was gettin a lotta pelters fae the boys nearer the front. After his off, we then sat deep for the remainder more or less.

ICT played a lot doon their right wing towards Robson's area, thinking he was a weak link, but he wasna. Stopped loads oe balls we headers and challenges and clearances.

Canna argue we the positives - 3 points is all that matters, being one of the philosphers oe 1-Nil every gehm to the end of the Season, and we're now clearly in 2nd spot, so my spoutin p1sh doesna matter.

MOTM for me Charlie Seaman, we Robson close 2nd.

Re: DUFC versus ICT - Tuesday 26th Feb (7.45pm)

Good summary there Billy Hainey.
Connolly got the sponsor MotM and I can't argue with Seaman & Robson either.
But I want to shout out HARKES, there could be a seriously good player there.
And did you hear the buzz from the crowd when SAFRANKO did a brilliant bit of holding up just 5 mins from the end? I know Sow is waiting in the wings & Paval is not exactly banging them in but his would be one of the first names on my teamsheet every week.
Oh & a mention for Benji Boy. Must be under tons of pressure but he was excellent last night.
So a mention for ICT, we needed half a dozen & more good player performances to get a 1-0 win over them. They'll take points off every team, last night was only their 6th loss of the season (same as us) & if they'd won half of their 12 drawn games they'd be ahead of us 3 pts behind RC.

We'll gub them on Sunday tho!

Re ICT, game they have v RC on 15 March could go a long way to deciding the title.  If RC win that then I think its theirs.  If not...

Seaman is absolutely brilliant btw, so refreshing to have a full back that can attack and defend, don’t think he was injured when he went off think it was more tactical, for Watson Ariel ability and it was proven at the end when Watson got a great header away

Good summary, I'd disagree on the last point though as its sheer supposition, if we had won six of our drawn games we'd be skooshing this league, aunties with balls n all that.

United's website report from last night refers to McMullan being sent off ; were they at a different game or are they on a different planet?

Seaman did go down on the central edge of our box & got treatment a few minutes before going off.
Didn't look too serious tho, his substitution was probably just precautionary, & I was happy enough to see Watson coming on.

Re: DUFC versus ICT - Tuesday 26th Feb (7.45pm)

Agree the keeper has looked better behind the new defence, but beside costing us at Falkirk, he almost did last night.A good save from a header well inside the six yard box that he should have clutched out the air.

Only my opinion, mind.

Charlie Seaman: Coll Donaldson booted him!

Actually don't think there was too much force in the off the ball kick, Charlie probably had a wee injury prior to that.

Cheers, SuperM, that took me an age to decipher. Thought it was something to do with spellcheck.
