The restructure looks sensible and am i not right in thinking that Hamilton have been quite successful in bringing players through?

This young guy seems well regarded in the game.

More coaches than Moffat and Williamson 😀
Could probably field a team of coaches with a guy left over to coach them

Have we all forgot about amateurzone (ken it's low on priorities compared to getting the team sorted oot), but my mate said he had no stream for the first fifteen minutes of the match on Saturday, and missed the first goal, a club of our supposed stature shouldn't be putting up with this shit service.
There is a lot of Arabs who don't live in Scotland, and that's there only way of still feeling part of it, also boys who work offshore, I've got an ST but quite often now, I can't use it as abroad working, but like to clear a space to watch Utd wherever I am, but constantly left fucked off by mediocre at best service, and being made to feel bad for having the audacity to complain.
I noticed on mad, a boy saying that he's in that game, and offered his services, but our communications guru rebuffed his help in any shape or form.
I really hope the Ogrens tried to watch that, and seen (or didn't see as the case may be) the shit service provided and we can get someone in there at long last that has actual media savvy rather than winging it, which has been the favoured tool of Mr Rice and Co.

If the Ogren's watched that stream on Saturday then i think we may have a new media team in place soon.
The camera quality of the live stream is diabolical. I noticed it's top video resolution is only 480p.
I mean, c'mon.

I really hope so,but I would personally keep the boy Simpson as commentator as I think he does a good job considering,
Does anyone know what these people actually do;
Riki Grauer - Communications and Media Manager......tak photies?
Kirsty O'Hare - Communications Executive..........Not a scooby? dis she answer phones or something?
Joe Rice - Head of Communications.............Chief Charlatan, Master Bluffer? The Godzilla of Graphics!

The sound and video quality is fucking horrendous most of the time on video highlights interviews etc.
Very very poor.
They apparently got a new 4K camera according to official site on 2th Jan.
Some of the videos look like they have been recorded on an old mobile.
Ive watched our games on a few other clubs online channels when im away at work and arabzone is way behind in terms of overall quality.

I kmow Riki Grauer, not well, but I have worked with her in the past. She was at that time the Club Photographer, responsible for all the imagery, both current and historical, its editing, cataloging, indexing etc etc.
A while back, the Club had cut back on staff in the Media Department due to Thomsons cutbacks, and so she had to take on duties of the folk who'd been released ( I know one of them personally). This now includes the Club Website and a lot more. Never heard oe the other lassie.

isnt it great that all we have to moan about is arabzone and pies just now! Just think about that. I too have watched other clubs and they were worse than ours (Ayr - ok i know). Needs someone to review bottom up on audio visual and comms. I have met all 3 and feel like they are getting stick akin to eastfootball forum on here. Riki in particular has helped me out when i worked abroad.
As I say good to see the gripes not being on field just now and long may that continue.
I don't know what other teams streams you've watched, but I've watched most away game that have been available.
to stream this season and every one was far superior to ours.
Anyone that has been on this board for a while, will testify I've been banging on about this shitshow for years (good times and bad) so this isn't because I've got fuck all better to do.
Now these clubs that in my humbles gave a better service, have less resources than us, and aren't we supposed to a top six club in all but name, so even comparing our streaming service with theirs maybe tells you where our media team stands (just think about that)
If this was a one of you can accept it,but the poor service (sporadic at best) has been a constant for years, now people say "well don't pay for it" but don't we do that every week? pay (or have ST') to watch United, just in the hope that sometimes they get it right!
This team have had more than enough time and chance to get it right, change is needed, and the sooner the better.
And by the way shouldn't having more cameras make it a better view

I started watching games since 2003 maybe and the most reliable one was the guy from Dunfermline (the town). Eastfootball streaming maybe? Arabzone has been gash (live streams anyway) for well over a decade. Too dear too. I have DAZN over here and it costs £13:25 a month and you get every EPL game, La Liga, Serie A, French league, Turkish league. Darts, UFC, Golf etc etc. They basically just show the sports. No over paid pundits or shite like that.

Come Saturday I will be in Dubai. Anyone know where I'll be able to view the match v St Mirren? A stream or PPV?

On the surface, Andy Goldie appears to be a well received appointment, and it is to be hoped that his input improves an area of the club which has under-performed for a number of years.
I'll say also that Mal B and Tony A seem to have had a positive impact on the transfer window, backed by the Ogren's enthusiasm and cash.
The catering is still poor, but promises have been made in that direction. Media work is poor in terms of the stuff I access: it is amateurish in the extreme. Other clubs at our level run a better service, free to users, costs covered by advertising and sponsorship.
But as far as these being the only things we have to 'moan about'..................... while delighted at the first half performance on Saturday, where we could have scored five, we didn't. Both Ayr and County have scored five against Morton this season, and we need to be much more clinical when on top. The second half was a wee bit like deja vu of previous performances, even although there are excuses for that. But I don't want excuses.
Aye, things are looking up, but we still have a mountain to climb to finish above Ayr or more likely Ross.

This is the post from the boy on Mad, hope he doesn't mind me showing it.

If you’re not part of the group of mates that’s putting it together in this amateurish way you’re not welcome. I think they like the access they get to the players etc. I can understand that but I think for a pro football team it’s a poor state of affairs.
Just think about that!

I think fresh ideas would be good for them and a load of new features. I offered to volunteer a few years back to discuss creative ideas etc as I was off work with m.e and was trying to stay somewhat active. They were very nice, I spent a lot of that time with Mark and Rikki who were genuinely lovely but there was a definite sense that everything was fine as it was and I was just asked to work on updating player profiles on the site which is i.t work and I suck at that. I find it hard to have a go because I genuinely liked them and they treated me with kindness but I do feel the site started off as a revelation but has got left behind in the last few years.

I cant fault the help i have had from them myself over the years and am not having a pop at them individually its the quality of the equiptment etc that needs a massive upgrade.

I used to have Arabzone prior to the gruesome twosome leaving and cancelled in a rage(along with arabtrust membership), however, theres never been enough pulling me back into it. Short term, i may get to see more of the games i miss but tbh there's enough on youtube from other clubs to satisfy that need.
Production values on both Arabzone and the jokers that do the pressers is amateurish. Simple things like having a curtain open which bounces light over a persons face or the interviewer being next to the only mic so they are really loud and the person being interviewed is quiet - its all really poor. I know cash is tight, but how much does it cost to run a second mic and and a few lights?
I think it would be good for the club to judge their offerings against other clubs to see if we are giving value for money. Check out whats offered by man united, Barcelona or any other global team - we don't have to match it but have something to aim for, as opposed to the status quo of below par content we currently get.
TBF though, they still charge the same amount as the day arabzone started - so maybe points partly to why we are getting v little from it. Needless to say though, MO wants profit and if this is a profit stream which is not reaching its earning potential; it will either be knocked on the head or improved.....
