I would guess with Aird it's more than just one thing, probably Robbies looked at the ability, the commitment and all round professionalism going forward and decided nah, can do better than that,  see ya later

Could also be a high earner

Re: January transfer window

I never wanted players from Dunfermline as I feared we'd end up playing like them.

Re: January transfer window

I've never rated Aird as much as some on here - might deliver a decent dead ball but his open play is on par with King's

After the Alloa game he was so piss poor that he had to be hooked a half time which suggests he's maybe not good with criticism - whatever it was he played like he'd given up so it's probably time for him to go.

Not too thrilled about Butcher -  can see the red cards being flashed already - at best he might work out as a squad player and at least he'll be better than Rabitsch.

Agree ref Butcher, I'm seeing the "10 men go down" headline already. I'm quite surprised at this but it maybe indicates that there's not an open cheque book after all

He hasn’t been sent off since he was sent off vs st.johnstone In the 13/14 season! Strong in the challenge - something we lack massively.
Has played average of 40games a season since leaving United.
Promoted with burton
Promoted with Millwall
In promotion place with Mansfield.

Not a bad set of stats to be fair!

Mark Connolly, ex-Killie centre-half now at Crawley rumoured to be signing.

Re: January transfer window

Also, offer’s in for Sow, we’re waiting on him making up his mind, he’s still undecided on the move.

Mind him well. Big strong boy.

Good in the air.

He actually bullied Fojut in a Friday night game through there.

Re: January transfer window

Killing my Arab mind click click clicking for info on new signings and hoping we do well in this windae.
Hope is we reveal 3 the morn. Worry is we get fucked over at the last minute and caught short.

Bairns need a real hero, I was spoiled. This turnover of failed effort needs to be flipped.

scored against us once, I’m sure.

Has played 101 times in last 2 and a half seasons, so he’s not rusty. He can slot right in, is 6’1 and strong (from what I remember)

He did.

It was the aforementioned Friday night game.

Re: January transfer window

Tope Obedeyi scoring and Robbie Muirhead making a cameo as a footballer instead of an arsehole.

Too much commotion

Re: January transfer window

Just watched his interview on Azone. Been waiting for this interview as I'm very curious about how and why he is here.

Strange to see him in United kit. Comes across differently from what I expected. Says the main reason is Robbie.

According to Wiki he was born on the 14th of May. Maybe a wee omen. Hopefully a gid ain.

Re: January transfer window

Folk talk about a new manager bounce. We've definately got a new player bounce. Results have helped this be a fan bounce too for sure.

Fuck knows how things will pan out by the end of the season but I'm feeling the difference in a good few ways.

About time the support was able to support without getting caught up in not supporting due to issues off the pitch.

Rekon the run in will be better supported vocally and in better numbers now with a team that has a chance and a support mair intae backing the effort.

About time kids watching Utd had a chance of having a hero that is worth being a hero after years of wasting £14 on names on kids shirts that are a fucking waste of a shirt and 14 quid.
