People on Twitter kicking off at paying a fee are the same people moaning the club wont sign 'the right players'. He was the champions poty last year. Great signing.

You can actually give any opinion you want on here. About anything.
What you can't do is give other posters abuse.

You've never offended anyone mate. What annoys me is folk calling eachother names on a site for United fans.
Some folk are easy at calling folk names on a keyboard or phone when they might well get their cunt kicked face to face. A bit like road ragers who are hard as fuck and cheeky in a car.
Nae need on a fitba forum when we all should be respectful in my humble opinion.

ok so we've got Nesbitt and seems Cammy Smith too. Decent start? Yes, but I still want to see a couple of big hitters in if the budget is there for it. Players that'll link with Fyvie Nesbitt Smith to make us invincible to the season end. Nadir types.

Agreed he isnt the best on the ball but we've not had anyone with his ability to put a ball in the box from open play and set pieces in god knows how long so in my opinion he has been and will be a valuable member of the squad for the rest of the season.

As a side-note, whats the story with Wardrop? Murdoch is far and away the worst RB we have ever had so this kid must be seriously shite if he cant get him out the team...

Absolutely delighted if we get Smith, MUST play number 10

Aird Smith and Nesbitt behind Safranko would take us a step forward i think.

OK chaps there yesterday - hands up Aidan a no10 or winger??
Came on 10 but was venturing out wide a lot

I'd play Aird right Smith middle and Nesbitt left if 4-2-3-1.

If Smith not that one the new one plays right mid and swaps at it behind a chosen 451 changing to 352 in extra time corners count double?

Nesbitt had a 'Loemba style' 5 minutes yesterday where every pass/touch he took went wide of the player intended or out the park. He also missed a couple of good chances.
But he also took risks, and was direct and fast. Thought he linked up well with McMullan too at times, as he did with Safranko.

Papers have us in for Osman Sow today. Neilson not taking too many risks in this window.
Also, Neilson’s apparently after Liam Fox from Hearts as his assistant.

Possibly just a lazy made-up link due to him being at MK Dons.
But that for me is exactly the type of player we need i.e. tall, physical, athletic.
If Hearts hadn't sold him for 7 figures to that Chinese club i reckon he would have ended up at Celtic or The Rangers.
Scored 23 times for Hearts in 51 matches.

I’d say there’s a chance. Neilson seems to be going after players he’s worked with before, and Sow’s not really been getting a look in at MK Dons. Could see this one happening tbh.
Sow, Smith, Pawlett, Gomis and the American boy would be enough in the midfield and attacking areas just now. Would then hopefully give us a chance to sort out a right back, goalkeeper and possibly a new centre half.

would take the load off Safranko as the ‘loft it in to him’ target.
He could use his mobility more. I’d like a fit Sow in.
