Interesting JD - would need a Sturrock DoF maybe?? BTW didnt know Luggy walked away from United earlier this season!??? Is that true?

Seems the favourite is Neilson. Here (from my very limited sources) are what ive heard: Neilson, Cathro, Coyle, Mcintrye and Hopkin (he isnt happy and neither is his club). I also think Ellis could be given a chance. Neilson doesnt want a figure above him and fair play.

Reckon its him we want by sounds from some folk.

Pressley was sounded out (by the said Agent,not Utd) and not keen. His Assistant Brian Reid apparently is and said he would like to at least hear what Utd would have to say, but Elvis wary of the job.

Both in Cyprus, but don't have a contract as such.

good to hear houstie still looks out for us though. Legend and i agree it isnt his gig. I dont want pressley anywhere near this club.

In broad terms the role of 'manager' is untenable.
Would I be right in saying 9 out of 10 appointments fail?
Average tenure is little more than 12 months.

Gled he's away, wouldn't want Coyle or McIntyre, Cathro I'd take but only for youth development (seemingly great at coaching the younger kids.) I can see why people would want Neilson (he's been round the circuit before) and I always liked him as a player nothing less than 100%, but does that transfer into his management style?

I suppose we'll just have to wait and see who puts their name in the hat and hope they actually get it right for a change.

O/T, why the fuck did Aird not get taken off /asked to come off earlier, noticed yesterday he got a knock or pulled something early doors, and every time he kicked the ball after you could see he was in pain, the highlights confirmed this, does our medical team no' see/monitor things like this?

It wont surprise me if we find he's out for a few weeks now.
