Re: Utd v Morton - 15th September 2018 (3pm)

Rakovan
Murdoch
Frans
Watson
Robson
Rabitsch
Barton
McMullan
Aird
Clark
Saffranko

Yeah, you're right, I can't pick a team either.
Just guessing there will be very few changes from last league game at Alloa.
McMullan for Loemba & Clark for Curran (if Clark fit?)

I'd like to see a line up that doesn't include Robson, Murdoch and Barton.

"Don't F*cking ever offer me that again!"

Forgot about him actually, I would consider actually going back to three at the back

Rakovan
Watson bouhenna frans
Aird Barton rabitsch booth
McMullan
Clark safranko

Slight change of the team

Bouhenna, last we heard was ‘international clearance’

Rakovan

Watson Bouhenna Frans

Aird Barton Rabitsch Loemba

Clark

Safranko Curran

would like to see Fyvie & King get 10/15 mins

Doing away with full backs altogether? Aird & Loemba would need to be doing a lot of defending. Unless we're good enough to defend by attacking. Curran for a forward looks like he's got a defender in him. Is Bouhenna (I forgot about him too) not yet eligible to play then? Prob not cos he would have played Saturday or y'day.

Think Fyvie is due to get 60 minutes.

Re: Utd v Morton - 15th September 2018 (3pm)

Rakovan
Watson Frans Bouhenna
Aird Rabitsch Thomas Booth
Smith Safranko McMullan

Fyvie, Clark, Stanton would be in if fit

Happy to play Loemba (for Smith/McMullan) if in a forward role but not in midfield, Barton's a waste of a jersey and happy to play anything other than 4:2:3:1

Bring back the (real) "United Way" not the kiddy-on Martin version

Re: Utd v Morton - 15th September 2018 (3pm)

I can't see Bouhenna getting thrown in somehow, even if registered to play ok.
Clark or Curran, Curran or Clark cos can't see the two of them starting together.
I'm quite liking McMullan just now, might he play 60 mins and then let Loemba on to see if he can do something?
Holding mids getting game time not a bad thing cos they'll be needed to deputise once Fyvie & stanton are back.
I don't see the horrors about playing Robson at left back, he's a young lad improving the more games he gets & I say again, think Barry Douglas & the way the fans backed him. Not.

Think Fyvie is due to get 60 minutes.

I seriously doubt that'll be in the first team though.

Too much commotion

Not going to watch it, but that interview above with Csaba only runs to 6 mins 15 seconds. Was there only one question, or does he have a cold?

Re: Utd v Morton - 15th September 2018 (3pm)

Regarding the line-up, if he chooses to have two up front in the line up, I hope they actually play as two up front.

Re: Utd v Morton - 15th September 2018 (3pm)

One plus today, albeit gave away the pen, I thought bouhenna looked like he’ll be a very good signing, looked solid and looked like he can actually pass a ball played 3/4 very good 60 yarders

Re: Utd v Morton - 15th September 2018 (3pm)

Another one who looks a good signing on first impression.

No doubt he'll go the same way as the others and be dragged down to mediocrity by turgid tactics.

I still think the right manager could get this squad promoted.

Re: Utd v Morton - 15th September 2018 (3pm)

He grew into the game the longer it progressed.
Early on he looked a bit 'where the fuck am I?' & then had the misfortune to concede a penalty & pick up a yellow card so early (11 mins). Did anyone see what cost the award or just Colin Steven, remember the name, shite ref & Fox lino had a shocker too).
That must have inhibited him but you could see him gaining confidence as the game wore on & if it had lasted another twenty minutes we would have been comparing him to another Algerian CH we had recently.

Re: Utd v Morton - 15th September 2018 (3pm)

The scoreline, the excellent wallop and late equaliser from Fyvie, doesna detract from the fact that, that was abysmal today. Do our 1st team players actually know ane another?

Rabbit and Barton shoulda been hooked early on. Loemba although been good for a lot of the game, with his comical slip-ups.

Morton were honking tee. They only had 3 on target tae.  And that jobsorth Ref. Dinna get me started on that chunt.

Bouhenna was our best player today.

Aff oot to a perty. Thank phuck.

Re: Utd v Morton - 15th September 2018 (3pm)

Watched the penalty over and over. I have no complaint with the new lad. Ref was fkn conned.
They had hands on eachother and if anything the Morton defender let his legs go and pulled Bouhenna to the ground.
