Dundee United today announced that First Team Coach Werner Burger had been allowed to leave the Club at the end of the month for medical reasons.
Werner said, “I would like to wish Dundee United the very best for the future and have been encouraged as I have seen the squad strengthened through recent weeks with the addition of some good players. Reluctantly, I have decided to return to Germany, and as it is impossible for me to give the 100% at this moment, I wanted to be honest with the manager and this great club. I leave expecting the team to have a very successful season.”
Manager Csaba Laszlo said: “While I will be sorry to see Werner leave I admire his honesty and professionalism in making this difficult decision. I know how keen he is for us to deliver success. Everyone at the club wishes him well for the future
