Just watched Csaba interview. No clubs have enquired about our players.

Toni Vastic decision to be made after or on Friday. He has 2 years left on his contract so any potential deal will need to be negotiated wether loan or perminent. He seems to be rated highly.

Seems like we have another target that we want and are waiting for decision from them.

I can't see where it's evidenced that he has two years left on his contract, Arabnophobia. His career seems to have been on a downturn for a number of years. What I do see is he missed a year with a cruciate injury around three years ago,and hasn't really played a lot since.

If he does sign, I hope he does well.

Edit to add in injury stuff.

He did babble some shite tbh but my take was that vastic is still under contract for two years but that his club won't be difficult to deal with

Hopefully some news on Vastic today, I am sure that it is today a decision is made on him. I am not sure if he would be signed in time for tomorrow if a decision to keep him as I think international clearance would be needed.

I have seen rumours on Twitter so taking them with a large pinch of salt that United are interested in Goodwillie, although I get the feeling the source of the rumour is not reliable.

I would not be in favour of that happening as I was not impressed with him last time and feel there is to much of a negative association with him given his off field problems.

I’d love Goodie back. He’d get 20 goals this season and with Clark there too we’d win the league with their goals.

Not a fan of signing foreigners on loan. They just rarely seem to work out.

Cant see goodie happening either.

Not into ex players returning as it rarely works out. Goodie was poor on his 2nd stint however he had rarely been playing and had shit going on. Now he has banged in goals all last season for Clyde and has scored in league cup i think he would be a good signing at this stage.

Bit disappointed that there is no news today. Defeats me why clubs tell fans that decisions are to be made on a certain day then you hear nothing.
Hopefully its all happening behind the scenes, but it is clear where we need additions.
Attention we'd get if we signed Goodwillie just isn't worth it.

The decision probably has been made, doesn't mean it all has to come out instantly. Yes maybe looking over the contract, we're maybe talking to his club to sort stuff out. Any number of things

I wish it was ok to sign him again.

But it just isn’t right now. With Mike Martin talking about positive PR etc, the club wouldn’t go near him.
