    Players we should be looking at

    From the lower leagues.

    Lawrence Shankland = goal machine with Ayr Utd. Just bagged yet another hat-trick tonight.

    Lawrence Shankland signed a contract for next season with Ayr recently, as kdyteejay says.

    Previously, I'd say 'no', but looking at what we have, he may have been an improvement. Not happening though.

    We should have been looking at players like that whilst they were heading out of contract.

    Young, up and coming, proven scorers.

    Rather than the fucking about we are currently doing.

    Leaving aside numerous other considerations he's under contract and Clyde are looking for a fee.

    I don't see the fascination with Shankland if I'm totally honest. Didn't light up championship with St.Mirren or Morton. Yes he scored a few in a poor league 1.I'd rather Nicky Clark/Keatings over him. He's not the type of striker we need right now, a striker in the mould of Daly, Higdon etc is what we need. Someone who is all elbows, bullies defenders, doesnt get smaller when he jumps (see danish Tam), holds it up and brings the boys around about him into play.

    I see Dundee have been linked with interest in shankland in tonight’s Tully.

    Deal could be dead in the water though once they are able to understand he has just signed a new contract 😂

    £250k for him. For a boy that's not made the grade in a few attempts, thats steep. 
    I think Clark & Keatings are good enough to get the goals, Curran to link up play. Would still like a unit to give us that option.

    Not overly, but he's busy and gets stuck in. Seen him at Brechin and his link play was superb. But it was brechin. So we'll see I guess!
