Without even really knowing how good this squad is going to be, we are one key injury away from being in the shit as things stand. Imperative we bring in at least one more ch.

We have just signed Adam Barton on a 2 year deal

So there more signings to come, centre half, midfielders winger hopefully, and target man! See quite a few tweets saying Barton is a very very good passer of the ball, sits in front of defence and passss ball about, Patrick fans seem delighted he’s gone! Time will tell but happy with that signing

The last thing I want to see is another numptie sitting in front of the defence passing the ball. I want to see someone in the final 3rd either passing or crossing the ball into the box. Get rid of the tactic that’s got us down here and get a new one which will get us back up

Trying not to be negative here but is that not the last thing we need? No knock on the lad but another holding player?

I don't think it's necessarily needed either.

Would rather a central midfielder who could take people on and drive forward.

My biggest worry, having seen us a couple of times in pre season, is where the goals are gonna come from, Clark and Curran are busy enough, but they won’t be banging in 20 goals a season for us. Some people might disagree, but I think it’d be worth giving Anthony Stokes a call and seeing if he’d be up for dicking about in the championship for a year.

We desperately nead a creative(maybe strong) midfielder but I rekon Barton is brought in as a 3rd contender for the defensive mid role for options and incase Fyvie breaks down in his comeback.

But Clark is a 20 goals a season striker though

I'd be happy with that but not sure that's what csaba likes to do. Played with two holding players at times last year.

Clark should be alright. dad said the lad Curran couldn't hit a barn door when he was at Carlisle.

Clark should be alright. dad said the lad Curran couldn't hit a barn door when he was at Carlisle.

Curran surely hasn't been brought in to score goals. I think it's mair about the rest of his game.

I agree that we need someone else up front that is better quality than we have or have had for a long time

It still seems to be another player that anyone could've picked off a SPFL released list. Not one player from England or Ireland. Wasn't that Luggy's scouting brief?

Agree: wondering if Luggy had much input about any of the players we've signed.
