I was and agree he didn’t have a great game but my point is it’s sooooo early in pre-season to be writing boys off.

Look he may end up being a poor signing but he’s an unknown to all of us so let him get up to speed before passing judgement.

The thing is though Arabdownsouth and Aberdeen Arab are right. You cannot slaughter a guy based on 1 performance, especially a pre-season game.

I don't disagree but Arabdownsouth's rant gave me a chuckle. Had to hud back fae winding the situatìon up in a different style.

It's very OK to passionately dissagree but what I like about TT is that the forum isn't wrecked by opinions or the occassional flip out.

No idea of the boy Rabitsch’s ability, I’ve not seen him.


However, it is entirely possible to watch a player once and know he isn’t ever going to be good enough, pre-season or not. If any of you want to think back over the last few years there are several examples.

Hopefully it’s not the case with this guy.

Some rumours going about tonight that Ali Crawford’s signing, was on trial with Hearts and seemingly done well, but signing Naismith means they’ve decided not to follow up their interest in him.

 I have seen those rumours as well and currently am taking them with a large pinch of salt.  He is decent if memory serves me well, although I did not watch of Hamilton when televised last season.

I would have thought there would also be decent top flight sides that would be seeing Crawford as a decent signing, although I am not sure what other interest there is in him at this time.

 
Think he’s a step up in quality from what we have, though is another number 10, a role I hoped we were gonna do away with. Seemingly has bother with his hamstrings, not that that will bother our meticulous medical team.

We are close to signing Ali Crawford i hear..

I noticed that Floods move to BalI Utd had collapsed.   Apparently with United only being in the Scottish Championship he did not meet work permit requirements for foreign players.  I think that he would have had to play for a Premiership club to qualify as foreign players need to be joining from a top flight club from the country they were playing in.

I would have thought that some someone involved with that move would have checked out those requirements, so there was no danger of something like this happening
