Getting the other centre half in is maybe more important than any other signing in any other position. So taking time to get it right is no bad thing. I'm hoping for something better than this former player signing (Callum Morris). And going by our glut of goalkeeper signings might we expect TWO marquee CH signings?

Not so sure, Morris shall slow that defence up nicely, Watson will spend a load of time blethering with their Physio instead of playing football.

Don't get the love for Morris. He started well for us yes, but after his injury he was never the same player.

The club needs to be moving forward not signing bang average former players. It doesn't work.

Aye I am quite glad Morris is not coming back - he looked decent with Fojut next to him but generally a bit slow and pish - had a penchant for taking fresh air swipes when trying to clear a ba.

Also don't want anybody associated with the Jackie/Mixu era coming back. Fresh faces and attitudes all round are needed.

We would never been in for him anyway. The likes of Scottish Premiership clubs and english league 1 sides would be interested and I doubt we could of afforded him. Nicky Clark and Craig Curran is the best we are going to get, we are a championship club.

we still need a big striker and it would be folly if we went into ANOTHER season without one.

FWIW, i severely doubted he would come here but when a mate with contacts at AFC says its happening, you tend to listen

If you read the headline he's no going anywhere. If you read the story he is staying if he wants to stay.

Hope we get a decent striker to add to the squad.

Big ain would be a great addition but good ain might top size.

Johnny Russell wasn't the tallest but great in the air whereas Thomas Mikkelson was tall but shite in the air. Not sure what my point is and it's very early in the morning lol, just make of it what you will 😀
