Draw coming up after the hearts vs hibs game. Who do you want?
Brora away for me.

Sheep away, not a great draw

They will be right up for it hopefully it's selected for Sky and we can get in some extra ££££.
Offline
I will be there but no chance of progress. Hopefully avoid a tanking
Offline
Worried!
we could get a hammering.

It will definitely be on TV if sky don't pick it then BBC will.
Worried we take a hammering off them.

Oh dear.
We will get despatched in much the same fashion St.Mirren did i suspect.

Good day out for the travelling fans.
I hold little hope of progressing.
Im going to miss it sadly.

All i want is promotion this year and that’s our only goal. This will be a great day out despite getting 5-6 goals rammed down us. I fucking hate these cunts and would love to get the first goal purely for scenes.

Think this match by itself will show how good we are.

struggling to understand why you can't understand my logic.
the two venues we would least like to have been drawn would have that pair.
Safe to say then it's the third worst draw we could have got?
Just looking at our schedule to the end of Feb then -
MORTON (H) Sat 27th Jan 3pm
ICT (A) Sat 3rd Feb 3pm
ABERDEEN (A) Fri/Sat/Sun 9/10/11th Feb
DUMBARTON (H) Sat 17th Feb 3pm
LIVINGSTON (A) Fri 23rd Feb 7.35pm
QotS (H) Tues 27th Feb 7.45pm

It’s a chance to practice some tactics for the 2 or 3 away fixtures we are likely to face in the play offs. Let’s see if we can park the bus, compete and get in their faces, close them down, hit on the break and maximise every chance we get from a set piece. If it’s good enough for Moreno, it should be good enough for us. Alternatively Csaba can stick with the turgid stuff and let fans see us get a 10 goal hiding.

SmeDUm, these won't fully be our fixtures, as the Dumbarton game is off on that date, and I reckon we'll be scheduled for Dumfries if (when) we are knocked out at Pittodrie.

That away end dump holds 2000, If It’s on TV It’ll be easy enough for tickets If It’s a 3:00 it’ll be tough.

Being a bit dramatic aren't we? Brechin only took 5 off Celtic yesterday. That's the worst team in our league versus the champions of the one above, settle down 😊

The only positive i can take about drawing Aberdeen away (if you can call it a positive) is that it will be a rare occasion in recent times that we won't be the 'big team', the favourites to win, the 'scalp'.
There will also be a 'big match atmosphere'.
Aberdeen supporters will be desperate to humiliate us and probably half expecting too as well.
If we can get in their faces and frustrate them this frustration can infiltrate their supporters and can possibly help us get 'our tails up' (players and support).
One things for sure Csaba will have to get his team selection and game plan absolutely spot-on for this game. It will also be a real test of his Management to see if he can motivate the players to a 'seasons best' performance.
And that's what it will have to be for us to have any chance of a result.
There's been a lot of talk from those within Tannadice about where we wan't to be as a club i.e. back in the Premiership.
Talk is cheap. Prove it.
Games like this are an opportunity to show that's the level you deserve to be at.
Games like this shouldn't be feared they should be embraced (by our players). If it's the former emotion you feel regards this game then quite frankly you don't deserve to be at Dundee United FC.
Time for the whole club to toughen up and get fucking stuck right in about them on the day.

Possibly but I wiz there when Falkirk put 6 past us and they were 2nd bottom of the Championship and still are. We will face tougher teams than Falkirk and given how little attacking we do and how ineffective it is we need to make sure we can defend in the games that matter like the St Mirren away game, Livingstone etc. On reflection, I’m not being dramatic at all. Possibly you’re being complacent.

I wouldnt have minded going to ibrox.
An away tie at pittodrie is equally as hard as a visit to glasgow. Did you not see their result against the team thats above us in the league?
