In my 30 years as a Utd supporter.
But never seen anything quite like this, I must confess.
Could easily have been 10 btw.
Embarrassed and angry in equal measure having watched this.

A few obvious things of note stick out.
Lewis needs to stop attempting to come off his line and punch every single cross.
The laddie Brandon Mason looks out his depth here.
Jamie Robson is hung-out to dry at Right Back.
Scott McDonald's body language appears awful even early on in the match. Frustration is one thing but huffing and puffing and generally walking about like a petulant child is quite the other.
Quinn should never have been offered a new deal.
There is no physicality, fight or desire here.
Completely chucked it and chasing shadows by the end and boy did Falkirk sniff blood.

Lack of basic defending - not marking danger men at corners, standing off/not closing down opponents, not covering colleague when forward goes past them, giving up when a forward goes past -- all dreadful
Also apart from goal which resulted from a very good forward pass (Keatings) and a very goodt run and control (KIng), there was zero attacking for the other 87 minutes. ,
Why didn't Csaba get this sorted at HT

That was the worst ive ever seen in my time following utd. It could have been double figures. Fuck knows what the manager was playing at.

i watched the goals not to long ago and they are worse than I thought at the match (left at the 3rd) the other 3 are just brutal also.
the whole team had a total fucking nightmare. the team selection was fucking weird and early on the fans could see things were not right with positions yet the manager failed to make a change to the set up. fucking idiot for that yesterday.
if he goes with that cunt at left back and robson at right back again on Saturday he can get to fuck. that was one of the worst things ive seen.
far to many of the players looked totally lost yesterday.
nocunt putting a foot in or fuck all how easy they cut through our players to get towards goal is unreal

b and t i missed this and brechin game as was skiing - landed and saw 6-1 - i should get out of air rage jail in a few months. Do you think it could be a one of clusterfuck combo of square pegs round holes, new players not ready and just disorganisation?
Then again how the fuck can get beat 6-1 from falkirk even if thats the case?
I am traumatised
For me it pretty much is down to how utterly fucked we are without Fyvie, and now add Fraser. No creativity and no link from back to front. Sitting way too deep and panicking with the ball at our feet. Add to that yesterday's diabolical team sheet and three new players with zero game time under their belts and well...... it's not rocket science really. So disappointed in Csaba for putting that team on the park

Thought I'd hold off from commenting on what happened on Saturday for a couple of days as I was in a state of shock.
That has to be the worst performance I've seen from a United team in the 35 years I've been going. They just chucked it. A disgrace. Shabba has to take a look at himself too, putting Robson at right back to accommodate Mason was a huge mistake. Aye the laddie is from Watford so probably a decent player but he has only played two first team games in his puff before; he looked like a wee laddie against the boy Longridge.
If Durnan was fit enough for the bench then he is fit, get him on from the start ffs.
I can take taking a doing if the opposition are simple far superior and on their game; but chucking it and just giving up is a disgrace.

Was gonnae watch the highlights there, began, but even before they've scored their first, I've given up: a bit like the players on Saturday.
I'm wondering (clutching at straws) if some players thought the game was going to get abandoned (as at Dumfries) given the surface and the rapidly dropping temperatures........... didn't senior players such as Scott McDonald think about trying to influence the referee?
But the bottom line is, the players selected weren't up for it, and neither was the formation chosen by Csaba. Csambolic.

Did you not see the 'clutching at straws' bit? Craig Thomson claimed Scott McDonald thought the pitch at Palmerston was unplayable, I'm suggesting if that was true McDonald could have tried his influence on a less experienced referee on Saturday.
I'm still pissed off that game was abandoned, for it was the one where we were removed from the top of the table: it was a big boost to St Mirren. Hope you can see where I'm coming from.
And, to be honest, I wasn't in the least expecting that the game in Grangemouth should be abandoned. We were the architects of our own downfall.
