Re: Fyvie injury

I hope it's someone who knows what they are doing not the usual "it's not as bad as we first thought" or " he's a quick healer" shite.

get him back fit at his own pace.

Re: Fyvie injury

ACL is a bad one: used to be a career ender, and if it is this injury, he'll be out a long while.

His last one had him out for the season in 2010-11. A big miss for United, he reads the game better than any other player we have on our books, and seldom wastes the ball.

Re: Fyvie injury

A blow no doubt about that.

Only silver lining is that that area of the pitch is one we have a wee bit of cover at.

Briels can't be far away now surely? Could also play Stanton, Allardice or even Murdoch there.

Albeit none may play the role as well as Fyvie does.

What type of midfielder is the boy Walsh from Dumbarton we are linked with. Does anyone know?

Re: Fyvie injury

Out for the season right enough.

That'll be him away back to Hibs.

Sad news for both the lad and the club.

Thank christ it's happened just before the window opens.

Fyvie is our player. He was a free agent when he joined. It's Stanton who is on loan from Hibs.

It is a massive blow.

Re: Fyvie injury

The boy done enough to merit a new deal in my opinion, but should we be offering him a new deal?

Yes from me, put his mind at ease and get him fit for next season.
