Nae good really comes from slating players performance at a match but a lack effort or tenacity for me is another matter.
We need that from every player.
Watching someone pull out of 50-50s drives me nuts. Watching a midfielder stand off or even not closing down and just going through the motions drives me nuts.
He was far more aggressive versus Hibs after his chat with the manager and needs to bring this into his regular play.
Don't care how much he plays wi his hair or how he comes across on the zone if he can just add tenacity and aggression to his obvious qualities I will be happy and we might even do him a song.
It's now up to him. He knows what he needs to add to his game.
Scott Fraser is what, 2 or 3 full seasons into a 15-year professional football career?
You don't suppose he could be developing do you?

If we get promoted this season Fraser will be one of the main reasons we achieve that, he is an exceptional prospect that just needs to be a big more aggressive IMO.
His direct style is something we've not had since those two fannies left.

My only issue with him has been effort and you can find that any level.

Other fans are also entitled to question the mentality of someone that turns up to vent their anger at a 20year old with potential. Especially if they are unhappy he is inconsistent- we all know most young players are. I don't know what enjoyment these fans get from being in a perma-rage.
I prefer the look at the positives. He's a young lad that has came through our ranks. He shows great potential. If he develops into a top player, with support from the team and the supporters, that's pretty much one of the few positives a non OF team can get these days in the Scottish game.
That's what has me turning up each week. If I didn't find any positives in going, I'd struggle to justify the effort
There is a diffetance between inconsistent and mostly over a season and a bit pish.
Turning upto vent anger at a player? You make it sound like thats peoples sole intention when ealking through the gates ata gane... Far from it id say.
Anyway like i says hopefully thats him starting to do better and lets hope he can help get us back up come the seasons end.

I think you're being a bit harsh there. I doubt scouts from a bunch of championship clubs have been alerted by 2 decent performances on the back of a season and a half of pish. He has shown ability but is inconsistent.
A lot of the boys I hear at games only complain, hardly even cheer at goals. I think they need to realign their expectations with the reality we are in. That's the main point of my post.
Like you say, performances are improving. Hopefully the slow start to the season was exactly that and we are back up at seasons end.

when he runs inside and takes players on he looks good

Thought he was very good today dangerous every time he got on it, the boys ability is class at times, very weird though that he's been our best player last 3 games playing back in centre midfield and McKinnon plays him wide right today? Thought he still done well out wide but seriously missed his running power with the ball in the middle! Anyhoo another win and upto 2nd! happy weekend arabs!

Fraser played well and was stifled from doing better by bad officials. Andreu has a great eye for linking up with him and saw flashes of a great understanding between them.
I'd like to see more of Cammy Fraser too as these 3 have imagination and a creative understanding. Sometimes the attacks through the wingbacks had a hesitation that allowed a breakdown in attack.
Andreu was marked by a cluster of 3 quite a lot of the time but we can use that against teams if we have attacking interplay in numbers releasing the ball that wee bit quicker on the charge.
Tope was obviously planned to be a main creator but looked like he put his boots on the wrong feet today. Beat his self mair than the opposition.

Hearing a whisper he's asked to be put up for transfer.
Could (of course) be shite.

I would not shed a tear if he left,
One footed,
Lazy,
Greedy,
Part of the side who took us down,
Part of the side who kept us down,
Five reasons why he should be punted and not on his request.

From what I have been told today, he has definately asked to leave.

Would be a excellent player for us if played in the right position

This 100% fir me, surely ti f*** RM will play him central this season and build aroond um.

Tell him to play his way to a transfer. He hardly had a brilliant season last year. If he wants to leave and join a team at a decent level - bloody knuckle down and attract the scouts !!
Offline
If a club put in a good offer for him (circa £400-600k) I would happily let him go, money could then be spent on bringing in extra strikers/wingers etc.

6th reason - gets booed when he scores a goal.

We need him to stay and be our Andreu next season. He has the vision and can play the pass that picks the lock.
We don't have anyone other than him that can do this.
If he leaves, I worry about our creativity.
