Grant Holt

Big horrible bastard of a forward.  He's looking for a club and fine with doing a job off the bench.

Reckon we should sign him.  Great example for younger players to follow as well.  His story is immense.

Re: Grant Holt

hes a bit of a unit,... is he going to be fit enough? don't know if we are going to carry a big enough squad to cover bit part players

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

I think he's got one more year in him. Knock on him has always been his weight.

he's half way to becoming Bobby Manns stunt double. Not doubting he has ability but in a time of sports science is he a good example to the youngsters? I don't know...

Re: Grant Holt

After a year of watching the turgid snails pace pish that we've just witnessed, the last thing that's going to get the fans back through the turnstiles is a fat bastard that prefers to noise up defenders rather than score goals.

I want pace in the team. We handled him no bother and our defence was shite. Boys like Cummings tore us apart

Nah he works his bollocks off, he's always been a big lad. Some folk just have issues keeping it off though.  He's no bigger than Jon Daly was in his better years.   He's been through a lot on his career, you'd think he'd have some wisdom to pass on.

He is not a fat bastard. I do take your point about pace but that can also convert to being soft. Has done for us over the years.

We'd have been a better side this year if he'd been in our squad. He looked fucking good enough to me when they played Hearts.

Re: Grant Holt

No point having a big centre forward if all we do is pass the ball backwards and sideways across midfield without going anywhere near to box. he'd get as bored as the rest of us. PS I've got a spare XXXL jersey for him (just score out the K**** name on the back)

Bring back the (real) "United Way" not the kiddy-on Martin version

If you seen him in the flesh there is no way you'd say he's not a fat bastard.
He genuinely has a massively gut.
He is the fattest professional player I have seen since mark yardley.
And he didn't try to play football anytime I saw him

Jon Daly was ripped to phuck when he left.
Grant Holt is barrel chested.
Very unfair comparison.
