Yeah was thinking one or the other. In all honesty, apart from Celtic, no club is a profit making company. They maybe make small amounts but nobody getting rich.

Sure I heard on the radio when they were discussing Buckfast Abbey loosing charitable status some Priests were on £200 000 a year.

Main thing is the purpose of the organisation would be to "exist to benefit the public" - no way the "club" would pass that test and it's hard to see how the youth set up would (as it would ultimately benefit United)

Nothing of course to stop United having a charitable arm as it were - but it would need to be very arms length and of no direct benefit to us (imo)

Like all profits above running costs, taken out and distributed amongst the needy?

I'd settle for us trying to wipe our own arse first, before we wiped others.

Problem is that those in charge still need their mum to wipe their arse.

Well I'm sure plenty of others have thought about profits being dished out and could've painted a lot worse scenarios.
