The Fans United Protest that was arranged for the Hibs game.  Fans United wanted to get their feelings over to ST, but the parts of the crowd who weren't involved tried to drown them out by singing to nullify the protest.

So does that mean those fans think everything is hunky dory?

It looks that way.to some.  If they didn't agree with the manner of the protest, they could easily have disagreed silently and allowed those who wanted to voice their opinions to voice their opinions.  By trying to drown out the protest, that certainly looks like they are showing support for the board and ST.

I think it was fairly clear on here and elsewhere that many disagreed with the timing of the protest and not protest per se.

I also recall someone from FU agreeing in retrospect that the protest was a mistake (on Mad)

Sabotage implies (imo) a deliberate rather than a spontaneous action and was to my mind a poor choice of words.

Equating disagreement with the protest to support for ST is unwarranted and wrong

Fair doo's.  Maybe sabotage was the wrong word.  I disagreed with the timing of the protest and if you look back in the appropriate thread you will possibly see me saying so, but I never tried to nullify the protest by singing over it as I agree with the principle that the club is a shambles and the board need to know just how many supporters disagree with the direction the club is going.  In my opinion and that of others, people drowning out the protest implies a level of acceptance of the boards actions and guidance of the club.

On a side note, ​I'd like to point out that I genuinely don't think I have ever made reference to anyone being a 'happy clapper' or having their 'head buried in the sand'.  I understand that everyone has their right to comment and have their own opinion.  However, drowning out a protest robs the protestors of their voice, in my opinion.

Affshore, if yer so keen on fixing the ST issue why the fuck do you continue to try and create a split in the support? Lumping all opinions you dont fully agree with into ST loving, head in the sand ST arse lickers etc won't Unite the support to go for the end result yer after.



Ken you like to think you shoot from the hip with opinion and yer defensive about SI's treatment fae ST but if you want to go for the result you seek surely you  have to realise that just knocking down fellow Arab's online who are nearing yer stance won't bring together the fight you seek against the regime.

Think every united supporter wants the issue fixed, but ultimately theres no resolve yet, im not splitting the support, the support has been split since 2015. That wasnt my doing, i dont influence anyone, people have their own opinions and generally they are split. 

Yeah well its my opinion and if i think people have their head in the sand or are ST arselickers then im entitled to that opinion, its not me soley dividing people, that boat has sailed a long time ago. 

Not sure why your bringing SI into this? This is exactly how those at the Club saw it as well mate.

 Should the fans booing not also be allowed to voice their opinions, I think you'll find they where booing the protesters not backing the board.
