Every loan we take adds to the problem, once Gussie is security on this loan there's nothing left to secure. What happens when the next loans needed? The club is now at the point where it cannot spend £1 more than it brings in, cos the next missed payment or next loan needed with nothing to offer as security could shut the doors.
To be fair, he said he'd get investment in and it looks like he has, but it's like trying to fill the bath with the plug out, cos he hasnt got close to fixing the overspending.
It is seriously worrying that he believes a loan is an investment!
And the Courier don't question it

He doesn't think it is mate, it's word play for the masses. No local journalists ever question him on anything.

That's not the case. What people might disagree over is the exact nature of the financial problems and how to go about addressing the problems. I don't think anyone is claiming everything is hunky dory.
What are they claiming then if they are prepared to sabotage a protest against the poor running of the club?

I keep missing things - what protest and who is 'sabotaging' it?

The Fans United Protest that was arranged for the Hibs game. Fans United wanted to get their feelings over to ST, but the parts of the crowd who weren't involved tried to drown them out by singing to nullify the protest.

So does that mean those fans think everything is hunky dory?

It looks that way.to some. If they didn't agree with the manner of the protest, they could easily have disagreed silently and allowed those who wanted to voice their opinions to voice their opinions. By trying to drown out the protest, that certainly looks like they are showing support for the board and ST.

I think it was fairly clear on here and elsewhere that many disagreed with the timing of the protest and not protest per se.
I also recall someone from FU agreeing in retrospect that the protest was a mistake (on Mad)
Sabotage implies (imo) a deliberate rather than a spontaneous action and was to my mind a poor choice of words.
Equating disagreement with the protest to support for ST is unwarranted and wrong

Fair doo's. Maybe sabotage was the wrong word. I disagreed with the timing of the protest and if you look back in the appropriate thread you will possibly see me saying so, but I never tried to nullify the protest by singing over it as I agree with the principle that the club is a shambles and the board need to know just how many supporters disagree with the direction the club is going. In my opinion and that of others, people drowning out the protest implies a level of acceptance of the boards actions and guidance of the club.
On a side note, I'd like to point out that I genuinely don't think I have ever made reference to anyone being a 'happy clapper' or having their 'head buried in the sand'. I understand that everyone has their right to comment and have their own opinion. However, drowning out a protest robs the protestors of their voice, in my opinion.

Affshore, if yer so keen on fixing the ST issue why the fuck do you continue to try and create a split in the support? Lumping all opinions you dont fully agree with into ST loving, head in the sand ST arse lickers etc won't Unite the support to go for the end result yer after.
Ken you like to think you shoot from the hip with opinion and yer defensive about SI's treatment fae ST but if you want to go for the result you seek surely you have to realise that just knocking down fellow Arab's online who are nearing yer stance won't bring together the fight you seek against the regime.
Sometimes wonder if you are on TT with an aim to put those who left yer Mad site off being on here.
Away n' have a chat wi yersel about this you Brian Graham donkey lover.

My apologies. I'll try to use words with fewer syllables and write "fuck" a bit more so that my comments can receive your approval.

Think every united supporter wants the issue fixed, but ultimately theres no resolve yet, im not splitting the support, the support has been split since 2015. That wasnt my doing, i dont influence anyone, people have their own opinions and generally they are split.
Yeah well its my opinion and if i think people have their head in the sand or are ST arselickers then im entitled to that opinion, its not me soley dividing people, that boat has sailed a long time ago.
Not sure why your bringing SI into this? Im sure he wont appreciate being brought into this eaither but as usual here we go again on a mad tangent ranting and bringing up things that have no relevence to whats happening just now, bring up someones past for basically fuck all, well done, well done.. My fight against the regime? makes me sound like im a leader of something, im not in the fed, im not in FU in not in the foundation im just an arab with an opinion and again, 3rd time, the split is nothing to do with me.
People who left mad left for whatever reason, i dont see how me posting on here puts people off, if it doesn then they are the ones who need to 'have a chat with themselves' not me. Its a message board the same as mad, big bad posters like me shouldnt put people off posting anywhere, alot of people need to man the fuck up Its a message board, a forum, no one is always going to agree.
Shit like this makes me laugh, im not the only one with a voice on the forums, and im certainly not the one whos split the support, people have different opinions and the way i see it people can post whatever they like.
If your not happy with what i post, im sorry but tough shit.

Should the fans booing not also be allowed to voice their opinions, I think you'll find they where booing the protesters not backing the board.

Believe it or don't, makes no difference to me. Let's be honest there is not much I've been wrong with these last couple of years.
