Anyone that bought a season ticket for this year needn’t ever utter a single word of complaint about Goodwin or his style of play. You knew fine what you were signing up for, you’ve had three and half years to figure what and who he is as a football manager.
Away to fuck with your season ticket nonsense. I’ve bought a season ticket for decades and seen united have worse or as bad managers in that time. If things continue for much longer (and I’m talking about a couple of games) as they have then I’ll be screaming for him to get to fuck, as is my right.
Are you a season ticket holder?
Do you even go to games? If so are you part of the problem or are you one of those that never puts anything into the club.

Think you're way over the top here, having a go at the lifeblood of the club is not the answer.
Whether they’re the lifeblood of the club or not is irrelevant, that’s misty-eyed nonsense anyway. If they’d voted with their feet, Jim Goodwin wouldn’t be here right now, that’s a fact. When you have an absentee owner who doesn’t really care about what goes on on the pitch as long as it doesn’t cost him money, then the only way you can get him to listen is by depriving him of money.
The United fans have no one to blame but themselves when they’re watching another season of turgid, cowardly, backwards, hoofball shite. It’s exactly what they signed up for, and it’s exactly what they’ll get.

JG should now strip Graham of the captaincy and try to sell him. It was a poor performance made far worse by (another) ridiculous Mistake by him.
Eskissen & Nammo are the sort of players who will get you relegated- both just shirt fillers.
The only plus points for me were that Lovu, Forbes and Walton look like a decent base for the team
I’ve already said I don’t think JG will make it until Christmas, unless his 3/4 more signings are better than what was on show last night I think it’s inevitable

What a load of nonsense, but hey you want to be angry at the fans then go ahead. Without them the club is dead. Geographically its impossible for me to be a season ticket holder but I'll continue to put money in in other ways and I'm always thankful that we do have a loyal fan base. Misty eyed nonsense aye? 🤣

I’m not “angry” at anybody, but the people that have bought season tickets en masse undeniably have a massive portion of the blame in Goodwin still being here, that’s not even up for debate. A season ticket bought this summer, particularly in the loyalty period was a vote in favour of Goodwin, fact.

Ok so have you actually done something to create a movement that persuades the fans not to buy a season ticket, did you start an online petition perhaps? Campaign outside the ticket office maybe? Or are you just reliant on every season ticket holder having the same mindset as yourself?

Lets Just say, that we didn't sell a single season ticket because everyone who normally buys one decides to agree that its the only way to get rid of the manager. What do you realistically see happening next?

Not far off the mark tbh. We were absolutely rotten for most of the season, it was nothing but negative football where we sat back at home to teams like Hibs and Motherwell where draws were considered good results.
I, like super mario, bought my season ticket purely out of loyalty and the fact nothing would change and it would be more expensive.
If we don’t start the season off well, i hope we don’t sit back and accept it this time. When fans vote with their feet, clubs take notice.

You'd think Goodwin would look at himself aswell and say "i'm embarrassing myself here, it has not worked, it's time to take myself out of the firing line" but he genuinely believes he is good enough to manage Dundee United,
Baffling.

Reduced to clutching at straws that the team clicks once we get the new front three on the pitch after only two games. It's still the same old issue though. We are ponderous, have no identity and struggle to build attacks regardless of who plays. Can only come from the coaching.
I stood behind the goal last night & what I will say is there was decent movement from Rose and Eskesen when we were in possession. Both were repeatedly showing for the ball & were sharp but our defenders (all 3 ch's) showed no interest in trying to find them. Risk-free football.
We seemed more interested in trying to get the ball into a crossing position which was pointless because a) Rose is tiny and had no chance against their two ch's and b) until Leiper came on all our crosses were from about 25 yards out and easy to defend.
The type of strikers we have look like they need wee threaded balls through for them to run onto or, balls into feet to lay off to someone breaking from midfield. But our defenders are either shit-scared or incapable of playing these types of balls. The few occasions we did this last night in the first half in particular we got a bit of joy and a combination of poor finishing (again) and very good last-ditch defending prevented us from scoring taking the lead. Their goal completely knocked the stuffing out of us (which doesn't bode well) until the last 15 minutes when we started throwing bodies forward and looking increasingly desperate.
So instead we just get the endless, slow-paced horseshoes of possession allowing the opposition to get into shape and hold it until we eventually give the ball away or as I said earlier, we hit a hopeful cross in. It's like watching a shite training game.
If you are going to thread wee balls through you surely need to be quick at doing it to react to your strikers movement and to catch their defenders out? Pointless doing it when they are back to shape. You actually heard their players screaming 'SHAPE' throughout the 2nd half.
We've gifted Montrose their goal it's not even like they created a chance but the real worry is we don't even look like scoring. Nothing up front? Or is it simply down to how we play that is making striker after striker look completely impotent (VDS, Moeller, Watters, Sapsford and now Rose)? Certain players have gone backwards (Sapsford, Camara). Christ knows what Dylan Tait makes of all of this. On this evidence we'll be rooted by September.

Agree with this especially the rooted by September. Our first few fixtures are all difficult but the only positive is we won’t be playing against a low block.
If we are rooted then I think the lifeblood of the team will definitely be making loud noises in getting Goodwin to fuck. Personally I don’t like him. He’s far too negative for my liking. I’m almost wanting us to lose to Arbroath on Saturday.

No, cause ultimately I don’t care enough to devote any sort of time to that sort of thing. I just didn’t buy one, I put a poll on here towards the end of last season to get a rough idea of how many people were for and against Goodwin. It was something like 66% in favour of parting ways with him, I understand a messageboard isn’t representative of the feeling of the fanbase as a whole, but it is some form of indication. I doubt the club even cared.
Ultimately though, people have autonomy so can spend their money in whichever way they see fit, however common sense would dictate that if you’re in favour of a change in the dugout, then buying a season ticket is probably the single most counter-intuitive thing you can do to express that feeling.
People that have bought season tickets for this season have zero right to complain when they’re watching yet another campaign of terrorist-ball, while we meander about mid-table and get put out the cups at the first time of asking. You knew what Goodwin is and you knew fine what you signed up for. If you don’t like it, you shouldn’t have bought a season ticket.

So jerry by your reckoning, people who supported the club don't have a right to complain. Its only people like yourself who have not invested in the club in the form of season tickets who can.

In the meantime the club has no revenue and sinks into administration, or at very best has no budget to replace all the players who have left and we end up playing youngsters and eventually relegated which would ultimately end up in administration and possibly folding altogether.

You don’t have any right to complain about Goodwin I’m afraid, you know what he is, and you know what you were getting when you handed your money over. That’s like being outraged when you go to McDonalds and they hand you a greasy, tasteless, burger and a bunch of soggy, half cold chips. Blind loyalty is just stupid and enables the kind of complacency and mediocrity that’s set in at every level of the club.
I was a season ticket holder for every season bar one (due to working in another country) since 2002. This is the first season I’ve made the choice not to buy. Most games I went to last season had me wondering what the fuck I was doing there, and eulogizing the dozen better things I could’ve done with my Saturday.

Correct. It was a hysterical reaction to the defeat.
But he has consistently posted hatred towards Ogren and now Goodwin.
Maybe they sacked him from his job in the club shop because he is seriously nasty about Ogren and here he is now telling us we're stupid for supporting the club we love.

You’ve contradicted yourself there, it’s not hysterical or a reaction when my stance on Goodwin has been very consistent since about the turn of the year.
Please delineate where I’ve been nasty about Ogren or Goodwin? My criticism of the pair of them is purely related to their professional performances, that’s fair, they choose to work in a public profession where they’re being judged on everything they do, and they’ve more than earned that criticism. That people on here plead about blind loyalty like a nodding dog says far more about them than it does about me.

I bought two seasons, Superfans eh?
Edited because I lost my temper.
