Didn't see any of it, but I bet we had the lion's share of chances, possession, but were ponderous, slow, lacking urgency and turned up treating it like a training game and only maybe showed some urgency as the game came to an end?
Yep, and totally on the manager. He's not good enough,we're nowhere near good enough

I can't imagine there's going to be a last minute ticket rush for Saturday, a rush to tear the cunts up maybe

A last minute penalty against Stirling Albion and then that tonight
Spartans in 2023 when "Big Psycho" started having a pop at us
Shambolic the "gaffer" is still in our dugout
A total sham.
Sussed out by league 1 and league 2 teams and its the middle of July
Another 10 signings to replace the last 10 that didn't work
The club captain and leader of the team hooked at half time after stinking out the joint against a team in League 1
Absoultely criminal

Should just cut our losses and leave Ross Graham in Montrose.

Jesus. And there’s boys on here that jump to his defence any time I get on Goodwin’s back. He’s long out-stayed his welcome here. We’re not all of a sudden gonna turn into some swashbuckling, attacking side, even against teams like Montrose. He doesn’t know how to coach that. We’ve had three and half years of him, we’ve seen all the tricks he has up his sleeve, there’s nothing else up there.
We should’ve parted ways this summer, but Ogren doesn’t really care unless there’s a serious risk that we’re gonna cost him money. Folk that spent hundreds for another season of Goodwin-ball are nothing but mug punters.

On another day we score 3 or 4
Actually don’t mind how we’re are trying to control games- but going forward it is totally off the cuff- that needs worked on big time
Some of the signings I do like Forbes Tait and rose, rest jury’s out and it is 2nd game of the season.
Tonight could be the end of Graham for me, his confidence is done, Forbes looks like a big upgrade for me- if an offer comes in he will be away. Goodwin is ruthless in that sense

Someone will find him in main reception at Links Park tomorrow morning still standing there pushing a door that says pull.

We employed a football manager but he's not a coach.
We've seen this time and time again. Sadly nothing has changed.

That'll be the experiment done with then. Back to turgid, unexpressive anti-football and the best we will do is bore away to a lower half of the table finish.
How many different players will be brought in to have that clown and backroom team "coach" the life out of before enough is enough?
We will never play any kind of front foot, entertaining, flowing football under that loser.
Every bit as bad a result as under the likes of Csaba Laszlo and McKinnon. But for some insane reason he can do no wrong to the board and quite a few supporters and should keep his job.
Well more fool them.

Poor result but we'll win the two home games and easily win the group in the end. Improvements needed though.

Have us in serious relegation trouble. That’s literally it. 9th and above and he’s teflon. People at that club are far too comfortable.

Lose to Arbroath on Saturday and Goodwin should do the honourable thing and resign. If he doesn't he should be sacked.
I'm absolutely fucking fizzing with that tonight.

I’m hoping Randall & Mehdi will add quality out wide & we bring in a new left back. That & the new strikers are up to pace & we’ll have a different team.

Based on what?
Haven't looked even close to scoring from open play over 180 minutes.

I think we all are tbh, thats an absolute embarrassment tonight. He would be gone before the weekend if I had anything to do with it. How many fucking times can this guy fail and still have a job? I am genuinely worried that we've signed an absolute pile of shite too. Partick Thistle have scored 10 ( fucking ten! ) goals while all we have mustered is a last gap penalty against league 2 opposition. I cant bear to listen to him spout the same old shite again either. Just grab your laptop and fuck off Jim!

I’m pissed off but not raging as it comes as no surprise and I kind of expected it. Goodwin has shown time and time again that he can’t set up a team to play against lower league teams who sit back. He doesn’t motivate the players for cup games. It’s a game we needed to win and that he needed to win and we’ve got our best midfielder on the bench and our best player not even in the squad (whether that’s Goodwin’s decision I’m not 100% but he is quoted as saying he’s available for selection).

Mostly from set pieces shoulda added that ^^ 2 off line 1 free header and new strikers chance
Need to work on our attacking phases big time

Goodwin should be sacked tonight everything at united to relaxed and passive no leadership at all in team or coaching staff, treat cups like friendly games he's a boring bastard

It was all sort of half chances though SM. Let's be honest.
Really, really worrying that in 180 minutes of football we never cut either of the teams open even once.

Fair
The wingers have to come in and hit the ground running, the wee lad who came on again looked more lively that the lads who started

See if it isn't his decision and it's coming from say Capuano, i still blame Goodwin for not having a pair of bollocks and insisting he'll pick who he wants.
It's an absolutely ridiculous situation.
Ferry has given us two great years and he should be the first name on the team sheet until the day he departs (at which time he should leave with our best wishes). Instead the club are trying to strong-arm him out the door. And bad feeling has crept in unecessarily.
Despite what others have said i have heard Ferry is in no rush to leave United and is happy to wait for the right move. United are the one's forcing this situation, not him.
