The figure they get will be undisclosed as will any fee we'll get for Ferry.
The money either of us get isn't worth getting excited about unless we get to re-invest some, which I doubt.

Seems to be a rumour growing that we are going to sign Goalkeeper, Jordan Amissah who has just left Burton Albion.
Was previously on loan at Ross County.

His brother Chance, is a striker, reckon we'll be in for him too.

Would love us to sign a cult hero striker.
A guy with the bravery of Andy Gray the character of Duncan Ferguson and the cold steel of Jon Daly.
Come on United get it done.
Ps I was lucky to follow United home and away during Andy's short time and I've never seen anything like it. 36 goals in 62 starts.
That was when we actually had scouts though.

6ft 6, knows the league and wasn’t too bad at County. Happier with that than Dave Richards anyway.

Don't remember him particularly - so no idea of good or bad....i guess solid enough. To be a right moan, I'd be keener to get first teamers signed up but guess that's not how transfers work.
The a league players have been signed for ages and seems to have gone quiet.... forbes tait and walton may be solid but dont excite me.
Ps is forbes interviews about being a leader etc a precursor to graham being off?

Similar to Agyei, they haven't commented on the length of contract.
Why is that?
Scratch that, its reported on the BBC that its a 2 year deal.

United's tweet when he signed said 2 year deal. Was also in the article on the United website.

I just hadn't seen it in any of the articles that I'd read. Then I spotted it in the BBC article and realised I'd made an arse of it.
Typical me.

Was meant to be really good at County. Don’t think Walton will just be undisputed no. 1. Not in the way he would’ve been if Richards had still been here. Proper competition in that position for the first time in a long time, well apart from the clown competition we had last season.

Im a whole lot happier with our goalkeeper situation this season than for a long time tbh. Both keepers are tried and tested in our league and not wild punts from eastern Europe with built in clown gloves. I'll be a lot happier still when we get a properly hard as fuck center back that wins everything and a 20 goal striker.

We’re not gonna sign a proven 20 goal a season striker. The striker market at every level of football is fucked. Any striker with a track record of scoring 20 a season isn’t coming to Dundee United, I can assure you of that. Whoever we sign up will be a punt that will hopefully come good.

I didn't exactly say we would tbf, I just said it would make me happy. We need to get lucky with another Dalby type but there's always hope that we can if we do enough actual scouting, research and analysis. If the ginger ninja can score 20 plus in a season then there's hope for anyone
Anyone apart from Max Watters, Marc McNulty and big Jort that is 🤣

Ginger gimp scored about 8 goals last season.
I'd need to check but I think Zac got more. And to answer your question that striker is Zac, already signed for us and will get better this season with the right service.

A 20 goal striker won't come to United, but we can turn an 8-10 goal striker into a 20 goal striker if we passed the ball to him in the goaly-scorey area rather than have him working as an additional defensive midfielder.

But he has previously scored 20 plus was my point. But yeah hopefully Zac can become that 20 goal man

Ferry apparently been made to train with the U19's and going with them to Oban at the weekend.
This very much feels like United are trying to strong arm him out the door.
Don't agree with the club leaking the bid to the couple of journalists they did. It's putting Ferry under immense pressure to accept, when he has no duty to anyone to do so. I wouldn't go anywhere i didn't want too, i'm sure all of you would be the same. I understand they are probably leaking it to start a bidding War, but ostracising the boy from the squad is counter productive.
If he rejects the move (and it looks like he has) we need to get him back in first team training.
Our best player should be part of our squad until the day he finally departs.
