I'm willing to give him a chance if we do sign him, couldn't possibly be worse than Watters.

My concern is it's another player that starts well for us (Babunski, Dolcek, Watters, Esselink) but then loses his way.

Goodwin's record with foreigners is mixed to say the least. Particularly attacking players.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 26/27

Apparently we’re after Ross Sinclair from St. Johnstone as our backup goalkeeper.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 26/27

According to Scott Burns both St Mirren and United are looking to sign goalkeeper Ross Sinclair.

I suspect St Mirren will get him as they are the  more likely of the two clubs to be able to offer a higher number of guaranteed starts.

If be is happy to be a backup again somewhere else than United should be able to offer a better contract than St Mirren to attract him to them

I doubt it. Why would we have wanted a third keeper last summer?

Re: Summer Transfer Window 26/27

As far as the data goes on Babos, 0.77 duels won, 0.89 goals for a winger in his division. He looks to be the direct replacement for Dolcek. On data, Babos scores & puts in defensive work, the latter being the reason Dolcek disappeared.

Ive watched his YouTube reel, looks decent. But we've all seen that before, I guess I'll wait until we actually sign him and then complain how shite he is 🤣

Technically would have been a fourth with Adams also on the books.  But who's to say we weren't also trying to move Richards or Adams on last summer too?

I see the relative stress free nature of the close season hasn't helped the posting style of the Forum's favourite contrarian.  He should learn to chill before having to face another season with his stated arch enemy at the helm.

Well I would say the fact that Goodwin offered a new contract to Richards, and that Adams signed one recently tells you categorically that we weren’t trying to move either of them on last summer, so there’s that…

It might’ve been before Kucherenko or even January, but I’m sure i mind his name getting batted about.

A foreign twitter football page is saying we’re after Swedish midfielder Hugo Ahl, 24 years old who scored 11 goals and got 4 assists in Slovakia’s top flight last season.

Transfermrkt has him playing mostly right midfield/right wing.

Not sure how good or bad the Slovakian top flight is, but he looks good.

Great left foot on him.

Looks good,fingers crossed 🤞

One worrying stat though, he's never stayed longer than a year anywhere and even less at some clubs. I give him until the end of August under Goodwin.

Linked with a 6ft 3" left-footed Belarus striker. Hierman Barkouski / German Barcovskiy (weird translation).

About to turn 24. Played in all of Belarus' qualification matches in the recent group with Scotland.
