Alfie Stewart at ICT. 19 years old. 8 goals and 10 assists this season.

Rumours Hibs have approached him. Why are we not at players like this?

He's still on Aberdeen's books is he not?

Must still have a future there given how well he's done at Caley.

Getting released

Henry Fieldson, left back at Queens Park being linked.

Dundee, Falkirk and St Mirren also keen, and a few clubs in England .

I think given his age and that he might need a bit of patience and time before becoming the finished article, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to keep Strain another year. I know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but he’s experienced and solid if unspectacular.

We chucked the baby out with the bath water last summer and let go of too much of the core of the team to bring in a lot of young players. One example would be Moult, in hindsight, would it have been so bad to have kept him another year, knowing if all else fails, he can do a solid enough job in his position?

Sorry but need to disagree, by end of last season Moults legs had totally gone and releasing him was best thing to do. Amount of games he has managed for Crewe this season backs that up(played 1 minute since end of December, and only started 4 games all season.) As for Strain, is he worth spending money on an inflated wage for someone as injury prone and someone as a player seems to be declining on what he is able to bring to the team
