Fatahs fucked,great stuff
Why the fuck are we playing with 10 men? Why didn't we do like every one else and keep him on the pitch until the sub is ready to come on? Poor stuff United

83 minutes. Ferry nearly breaks himself earning a freekick on the left.
Ryan Strain hits it about 3 feet off the ground and the first defender easily clears it away.

Turned off after the equaliser and went out with the dog. Honestly sick of watching us give weak pishy goals away. I'll take the win gladly but we have a major rebuild ahead of us in the summer. Amar Fatah is going to be a huge miss and we looked like a few others picked up knocks too, we'll have to hope most clear up before the derby. I'd play our strongest possible team against them and the sheep but maybe blood some youngsters in the other fixtures, especially if we have any young lads who can take a goal.

A poor game of football, but a vital hard fought win nonetheless.
Pretty gutting if that is Fatah's last game for United, which looks likely. Also a worry that Ferry went off injured, as he was by far our best player.
Thankfully we have two weeks before the Derby to try and get Johnny Russell fit enough to play (thought he'd be on the bench today tbh), and perhaps Sibbald back too who was a surprise omission today. Doesn't sound promising regards Luca Stephenson.
My Player Ratings -
Richards 6 - Didn't do anything wrong.
SCH 6 - Was 'ok'
Iovu 6 - Just braindead decision making at their first goal. Was 'ok' otherwise.
Graham 6 - Left for dead at their second goal by Smith. Big, big decision to be made regards a new contract for him.
Ferry 8 - My MotM by miles. Great finish for his goal and some great deliveries in today.
Strain 6 - So, so.
Agyei 7 - Excellent first half, pretty mediocre second half (like many).
Sevelj 6 - Not his best game.
Sapsford 6 - Genuinely thought he was pretty awful again tbh. That miss about 10 minutes from the end with the goal gaping was horrendous. Just looks a shadow of the player he was. Thankfully he tucked away the penalty, as i genuinely feared the worst given he missed his last one.
Watters 4 - Haddie
Fatah 5 - Devastated to see him go off with what looks like a pulled hamstring. Was looking forward to seeing him run riot in the Post-split fixtures. Gonna be a depressing end to the season now without him.
Subs -
Camara 5 - Seriously what has happened to the Pan that covered every inch of grass, piroutted on the ball and generally started every move?
Naamo 5 - Pretty anonymous, as per.
Farrugia 6 - Was 'ok'. Zero end product though. Zero.
Keresztes 7 - Harsh decision to drop him after he was pretty good in the last 3 games. Great header for our equaliser.
Dolcek 5 - Once again no time to really impact the game.

FtThought we played some great stuff in the 1st half, no just the goal, but there was a period where we had them pinned in their own box, and we swarmed we some brah moves. Pity we never got much fae it.
Cracking bit of play by Ferry for the goal.
The rest of the 1st half went kinda lukewarm.
2nd half started shite. A basic mistake by Iovu led to their equaliser. He shoulda either cleared the ba or played it to the keeper. Did neither, tried to keep the ba, but lost possession, and the Livi boy puts the ba right inta the box.
Their 2nd was purely down to poor defending. Typical of us this Season TBH. From that point onwards I sat in the doldrums.
But then there was the cracking header by Keretzes for oor equaliser from the corner. And from then on sat thinking that the most we might get is a point, unless we made another fau-pas.
The Pen in the last minute oe extra time was something Eh didna expect. In our world, it usually goes the other wiy. What an absolute phuckin relief it was when Zac planted it.
MOTM for me Ferry.

I think the keeper needs to do better at the second goal too tbh. No arguments about the man of the match though, I dont really think there was any competition whatsoever. Crowd given as eight and a half thousand, looked like less than half of that to me. The 17 livi fans probably confused the issue 🤣

Really not sure what to make of Iovu- looks a right good player one game then the next looks way off it, WTF was he doing for that first Livi goal ffs.
He clears that and we go on to win the game comfortably
IMO, Livi did not look like doing anything until that moment.

Yeah it was horrendous tbh, defenders have just got to be more switched on than that.

It looks pretty hellish, but, he sustained a bad head injury in the first half (I noticed the blood seeping through the bandage in 1st half). I just wonder if he was marginally concussed but just told the medical staff he was ok?
I think he is an excellent defender, but, like, other defenders his “lapses” in concentration or poor decision making seem to reflect a lack of cohesion within the team. We can talk about lack of communication, but, I think it’s more than that. If you sit there and watch individual player e.g. Naamo, yesterday, it seems that there is a lack of clarity in terms of what he is expected to do. Ferry was telling he do do something, which seemed to be at odds with what he (Naamo) thought he should be doing.
Any great team spends nearly all their waking hours together to achieve a near telepathic understanding of where each player is on the park. We can discuss, selections, formations, tactics till the cows come home, but, I think the problem might be more basic.
I think Goodwin has achieved a lot in the last four games. Beating Celtic was huge. We all know he will be here next season. The more pertinent question is, what has he learned in his in personal development to take into next season?
