So fucking angry at this season and tonight just tops it off.
Only a potential relegation fight to "look forward" to and that clueless, gutless, deluded loser should have no part to play in it, he needs to go tonight.
Big changes needed throughout the club from top to bottom yet again.

Sick as fuck, I fucking hate Goodwin

This is nothing new.
We should not be surprised.
The manager can't set up a team.
He can't coach a team.
He makes good players worse.
He can't develop players
And he can't motivate a team for big games.
Times up I'm afraid.

Another pathetic post match interview too, just get him to fuck, had enough

Taking off Canara for Dolcek was bizarre, lost any momentum in midfield, sacrifice a defender you shitebag.

Precisely. Camara went off we stopped winning the ball. Meanwhile they’d stopped being a threat and we’ve got a back three the whole game. KK should have been off for Dolcek. Why we can’t do what Falkirk did to us and have a go from kick off I have no idea. It’s a cup game FFS.

The manager doesn't learn.
We've seen this so often. So often.
It's soul destroying.

100% this. Was so angry at this at the time.
Bringing on Dolcek, fine, but as you say take a fucking defender off.
But no, Jim has to have 5 defenders in the pitch at all times, even when we're losing.
We never kicked a ball after Camara went off.

Our performance just highlighted that the only reason we got this far in the cup is because we drew against Ayr United and Spartans.

A pathetic first half. A half of football that perfectly summed up so many BIG GAMES under Jim Goodwin (particularly Cup games).
Just flat, insipid, and looked like the players weren't up for it.
Much better 2nd half but you can't be missing two chances like Sapsford did tonight and expect to take anything from the match.
Nine essentially meaningless 'dead rubbers' to follow. Be the most uninspiring two derbies coming up, ever. Undoubtedly, Dundee will smell blood and see a chance to rub our noses in it even more.
A season that promised so much initially in the Summer months, now dead in the water. Season over the first week in March.
We have so many players out of contract that will now doubtless go through the motions and probably not want to risk getting injured, looking ahead to their next move.
Time in the coming weeks to just play the bulk of players who will actually be here next season. If that includes boys like Stirton, SCH, Farrugia etc, then so be it. Though only once we are mathematically safe.
My Player ratings -
AMB 6 - Not good enough at their first goal. Probably best to look elsewhere for a Keeper, he doesn't inspire.
Sevelj 6 - Thought he was quite poor tonight.
Graham 6 - See above.
Keresztes 6 - A couple of decent long passes, but again too much rolling about in the deck pretending he's injured.
Ferry 6 - He does my nut in. Was screaming at Keresztes at one point for losing the ball, even though there was zero movement from Ferry himself in front of him and all other options near him were blue shirts pressing. He's not a leader. Quite the opposite.
Agyei 6 - Was probably our best player, but it was a low bar.
Camara 6 - Not his best night. Absolute mind blowing nonsense to sub him off however.
Stephenson 6 - A shadow of the player he was.
Sapsford 6 - See above.
Watters 6 - Slightly better performance from Watters tonight. Showed good pace and lovely weighted pass for the Sapsford one on one chance that he should have absolutely buried.
Trapanovski 5 - Hopefully that's the last time we see 'Trapadona' in a United jersey. Zero end product and the heart of a mouse.
Subs -
Dolcek 5 - Barely touched the ball. Seemed to spend most of his time defending in the RWB role.
Russell 6 - Instantly set-up that 2nd Sapsford chance after good link up with Ferry. Was starved of any service after we fizzled out of the game quickly thereafter. He must wonder wtf he's came back to.
Eskesen 6 - Took his goal very well and played another lovely through ball that Ferry should just have shot first time but cut on to his right foot instead and wasted it. I think he's probably quite a technically good wee player, but just in the wrong team, at the wrong time. Much like David Babunski was last season.

Got what most of the supporters thought and we deserved
2-0 down and we still didn’t go for it
I can forgive him for the league but that is unforgivable for the cup

Formation might not have been a surprise, but the personnel could be, thus giving him a plan....
"That big cunt at the back fannies about on the ball, pressure him, that other big cunt waits for the ball to come to him and doesn't attack it, the other wee cunt in the back three, we'll just outjump him.
Stand off that dumpling playing CF he'll fall over his own feet, and let Ferry whip in as many balls as you like, no-one reads them or makes a run!"
Hopefully the above is a case of 'Many a true word is said in jest' take the handbrake off Jim, let them play.
Perfect summary of the match DB.
Taking Camara off when we were on top was a bizarre decision.
Every time the bbc cover us they make the same comments as all of us. Lack of intensity, belief, cohesion. Jim is only one not seeing it. He has coached almost that entire team to be worse than they were at the start of the season. Contrast to the opposition - well coached, play decent football, improved a group of mostly lower league players to look like a much better team than United.
I like Jim and think overall he has done well for us. But I think it’s time for a change now. Give the new manager a chance to assess the squad before summer. I doubt this will happen and have a real fear we would end up with someone worse. Like a new Martin or Nancy.

You see more in eskeson than I do. His back heel in the centre circle to a Falkirk player when ferry was free down the wing was comedy. He looks off balance all the time to me. Agree on Babunski comparison except that I think Babunski was actually a really decent technical player and under a different manager would have been an excellent signing.

The biggest difference between us and Falkirk, and Motherwell last weekend for that, is how fucking static we are as a team. Watching both of them, as soon as they have the ball, they have runners from midfield, wingers, full backs and strikers all making runs into space giving them options, we just fucking stand still waiting for something to happen.
Well, that and the fact that our defence is soft as shite.

The other difference between them and us is they will have walked off that pitch 100% convinced they can go on and win the cup and their manager will be telling them exactly that. I honestly cannot bear another game under Goodwin and already I've no expectations whatsoever for next weekends derby. I know we are losing before a ball is kicked and if I see us line up in the usual formation I think I'll actually cry.

In his interview after the st Mirren game Goodwin said he wouldn’t need to motivate the players for the big cup game v Falkirk. He said the same thing before the new year derby. We started both of these matches like they were pre season friendlies. He clearly does need to and should have motivated these players.
Rest of the season is meaningless. I have a ticket for Dens next week but after that I won’t bother unless we get a new manager in, which we won’t.

Was at a funeral yesterday efternane, and that wasna near as sad, as that was last night.
Their 1st, 3 oe oor players Vicko, Luca and Graham, are standing just to the right oe Stewart when he heads the ba. Not one oe them near him, never mind marking him. Goal on a plate.
Their 2nd, Vicko and Graham, WTF are they dae'in.
Falkirk must've had nearly twice the possession we had.
Eskesens goal, excellent as it was, doesna make it less seekening.
Phuckin disaster.

What about the incident in the last minute, Russell bursts through on goal, shaping to shoot, ref blows for a foul.
Isn't this what VAR was meant to be for, let play continue, then review if need be? But no, McLean gave a non foul and blew the whistle.
They did the same v Dundee last season in the cup as well.

You and me both bud, could be another 16 years before this kind of opportunity comes around again. Goodwin is a fud

Hearts, motherwell, hibs out, 1 of celtic/rangers out(both having 'terrible' seasons aswell) How much more motivation do you need going into a quarter final cup tie against falkirk ffs
