Biggest match of our season on Friday night.
What would be your starting XI and formation?

Stephenson..............................Ferry

I doubt it'll be anything like that, but that midfield wins the battle, Keresztes is too prone to fucking about, or making poor decisions, whereas Bert seems to really have been hung out to dry, on the back of one or two errors and being played out of place v Celtic and I'd be worried about Cleall-Harding and Graham playing together.

I'd like to see something like the above, but Iovu is suspended so we'll be getting Keresztes.

Oh yeah, right enough! ![]()

I can't imagine it'll be anything other than Sevelj Graham and Keresztes at the back, but that leaves us with a dilemma over where to play Stephenson unless Strain is fit for Friday.

This is a massive opportunity. We need to grab it.
Saw McGlynn interviewed and you can be sure his players will be well prepared and fired up. We need to match their all action start and take the game to them.
McGlynn sounded very confident, almost cocky, gave us no credit at all. Hopefully he'll not be so smiley on Saturday morning.
I really hope Goodwin has the players correctly fired up for this and they realise what's at stake for the club and the fans. Too often the players haven't looked fired up and motivated for big games, eg the last derby, he needs to get them up for this.

Not half. 0.30 in 'Yeah, we're buzzing, aye. Can't wait for it. We'd kick off now if we could'.
I like that btw. Their manager should convey confidence to the players and the support.
There was a very good reason we finally won the Cup in '94.
It was down to Ivan Golac and his supreme confidence in himself and the players.

Sapsford Watters

AMB
SCH Graham KK
Stephenson Sevelj camara Agyei Ferry
Sapsford Russell
We do want to win right ? Stuff the Sapsford/Watters pairing, hasnae worked since Vienna.
Bring on Trappa once Johnny start's breathing oot hes erse, which I reckon will take an hour because he'll be running on adrenaline.
I'd rather take him off at 1 v 0 up than the reverse

Exactly.
McGlynn knows, if we go one up we will sit deep and defend. We always do. They put 5 past Kilmarnock. We drew. To me, it’s not about formations or personnel. It is about belief and instilling a winning mentality in the squad. Hope kills you.

Worth saying that we drew at Falkirk opening game of the season after playing in Europe midweek and got a draw. Lost 3-0 at Home in what was Kucherenko's final appearance after he flogged 2 and scored an own goal (hit the post, off his back and in IIRC) in a game we were definitely in, then beat them most recently.
They've got the number of a few teams in this league but we could easily be going in to this unbeaten against Falkirk if it weren't for a Kucherenko disasterclass.
I know it's all if's and but's but I'm quietly confident going in to this one that we can get a result.

I was at the Falkirk game against Killie. It was five, with a sixth goal chopped off and two shots which hit the post. I'd like to think that, despite everything, we've got a wee bit more about us than Killie did last weekend but we absolutely cannot afford to sit back and defend one-goal lead.
Think Agyei will be really important for us. Graham was great for us on Tuesday and that's the version of him that we need on Friday. Was kind of hoping that we'd have seen a bit more of Dolcek in the past few games to see if he could bring anything to Friday night (he has managed to tee up two goals out of recent fleeting appearances). Agree that I'd rather start brightly with Russell rather than bring him at 75 minutes when we're trailing.
