I should just add that I'm always happy to be wrong and will be delighted to be miles off the mark tonight. If we could string some wins together I'd be the first on here raving about our 3 at the back revolution, I'm fickle and dont care. Just want a winning team on the park

3 at the back can work fine if you have 3 midfielders in front of them but this looks like 343 again. ie Fatah Sapsford Trapanovski which will leave just 2 conventional midfielders.

Im Just utterly fed up of our shite defence tbh,and it's this constant sticking to his system when it's clearly not worked thats really rattling my bars. But,and it's a helluva but,if we could somehow win our next 4 games then I will let JG have a go on my missus 🤣

Shinnie and Cameron will be licking their lips.

In saying that, they are fragile too and can be got at.
Hopefully Zac has a good game and the wide players deliver.

Hopefully mate, they'll need to deliver more than once with our defence though.

Been good. If we can keep him and Pan fit there's hope.

Trapanovski though, how frustrating.
Surely needs swapped for Dolcek?

All that pressure in the final third and we have nothing to show for it.

I keep telling myself Ferry is going to click into form then I think again.

On the positive side it's a more progressive performance but my worry is we haven't scored with our pressure and if they get one.....

Not a fan of 3-4-3 but if we are playing it then the 2 in the middle tonight are probably the most capable.

Trapanovski been shocking.  Struggle to see where a goal comes from.  Hopefully Watters can do something when he gets on…

Hate to use the old cliche but that game would get football stopped, honking. The last 3 games have been depressing. Despite it being 2 draws, a win and progessing in the cup it's been an awful watch.

Re: Utd vs Aberdeen - Tuesday 24th February (7.45PM)

Was a very poor watch. Plenty effort but no quality.

Sevelj was good I thought.  Keeper fine didn’t have much to do.  Iovu was alright, Ayegi did pretty well.  Rest were poor.  Trapanovski, Sapsford and Watters were brutal AGAIN.

Re: Utd vs Aberdeen - Tuesday 24th February (7.45PM)

An awful match, on an awful pitch, between two awful football teams.

Haven't won a league game at Tannadice in fucking ages. The season is over. There is zero chance we do anything in the Cup, and the season will fizzle out to an 8th or 9th place finish. Not looking forward to the Cup Quarter Final, and genuinely dreading the next Derby.

My player ratings on another depressing night -

AMB 6 - Had nothing to do.

Stephenson 5 - Mediocre.

Iovu 6 - Ok over all, but had his usual brain melt moment where his idiotic lunge led to Nisbett having an open goal chance.

Sevelj 7 - My MotM. Solid performance. One brilliant crossfield 70 yard pass to Ferry that he should have done much better with.

Kerezstes 6 - Like Iovu, i thought he was 'ok' over all, but also had his standard brain melt where he just zones out and let's Olusanya knick the ball off his feet and bear down on goal.

Ferry 6 - Does my head in. His final ball just an utter disgrace. Every week i shout at him to shoot. Tonight i seen why he doesn't shoot more often. Didn't even go out for a goal kick.

Camara 7 - Worked hard. Almost feel like he's trying too hard at times. Very unlucky with his shot that was tipped on to the post. The only moment of quality in a drab 90 minutes.

Agyei 6 - Worked hard. Some good interceptions. Should have scored that chance at the death though.

Fatah 6 - Not his best performance. Tried hard, but nothing came off for him. The pitch didn't help him. Worrying that he was playing almost on the centre circle at times. Yet, another attacking player that is getting deeper and deeper under Goodwin.

Sapsford 5 - Utterly anonymous again. Depressing as fuck the drop-off in him.

Trapanovski 5 - Awful performance. Lucky to come back out after half time.

Subs -

Strain 5 - Praised him on Saturday, but back to his usual fare tonight. Rotten.

Watters 5 - Offers nothing. Nothing. I'd rather play Owen Stirton every week and at least see if he can offer more. He couldn't offer less.

Dolcek 6 - Offered 3 whole minutes to try and do something. Should have buried his chance, but at least he was in the position to score.

Re: Utd vs Aberdeen - Tuesday 24th February (7.45PM)

An utterly pathetic game

Goodwin needs his head shaken, this 3 at the back is a complete and utter nonsense, actually laughed out loud when he went to 352- an absolute loser

To give Dolcek 3 mins- total waste of the lads time being here, within a minute of coming on got himself in a great position- shoulda scored, eskenen scored winner at Falkirk not been seen since, absolutely brilliant management, his confidence woulda been high now be in the gutter

Agyei was superb best player on pitch, camera, sevelj and ferry aright

Wouldn’t be surprised if Dolcek and eskenen start at the weekend- and no been seen again, cause Saturdays game will be a pumping, don’t even think we’ll touch the ball

Naamo, Eskesen and Farrugia not had a sniff last few games, they’re no world beaters but the should at least be getting a chance when you see the performances of Strain, Trapanovski ?Sapsford and Watters

Re: Utd vs Aberdeen - Tuesday 24th February (7.45PM)

Both teams and managers should hold their heads in shame after that tonight, I know the pitch wasn't great but that was an absolute disgrace. I've played on cooncil pitches worse than that since I was 8 and seen better attempts at playing football.

The lack of faith from Goodwin in not putting in Dolcek, Eskesen, Naamo, Farrugia, who are all supposed to be boys that can play a bit of football, for at least the last 20 minutes was a complete disgrace. You cant tell me the pitch was so bad that 90 minutes of punts up the park were needed, have a little bit of fucking faith in your players ability Ffs.

That was an absolute disgrace the night, playing for a 0-0 against a team who have won one in 10. Disgusted watching that.

And yet he continues to play a Barnsley loan player who is away in May and is already 'away' mentally.

Three of those players you mentioned (Eskesen, Naamo and Farrugia) all contracted to us for between 1-2 years. So, here for the long term, supposedly.

Dolcek still our 3rd top scorer despite barely kicking a ball since October.

Owen Stirton and Bert Esselink nowhere to be seen despite the fact we are about to play 3 huge games in 6 days.

The man is backing himself into a corner by narrowing his own options. Terrible 'man management'.

Be very interesting to see if Ross Graham plays on Saturday btw.

Last night proved that Goodwin see's us as a team in a battle to avoid 11th place rather than a team with an outside chance of the top 6.

I knew he’d be happy with that. Never mind serving up the absolute worst game of football in recent memory. They were every bit as bad as us, if not slightly worse, but at no point did Goodwin think to take off a defender to bring on an extra attacker and try and take the game to them. That shitfest was heading for a 0-0 all night, and he was most happy to let that play out.

I’m gonna spend this evening doing a rain dance in the hope that it pishes down with rain for the next month so I don’t have to go to Tannadice and be subjected to that shite.

That’s clever when our only other options are Watters and woefully out of form Sapsford.

I noticed Ferry arguing with someone in the crowd who was going mental after he put a straightforward cross out for a goal kick.
That's not acceptable for the captain of UTD.
A dreadful example for the rest of the team.

Canna believe we drapped another 2 points at hame. 4 points drapped in 2 gems FFS.

They had a lot mare or the possession in the 1st half, but things evened oot in the 2nd half. But we'd only 2 on target and only 16 touches in their box.

Sapsford didna look he's self. Hardly touched the ba on the 1st half. But letting Stirton go and bringing on Watters. Goodwin must be half-blind.

Loads of nearies, aff the bar, our the bar, inta the stand. Even the BNBs managed to baet them away fae hame.  We couldna even score against the chunts at hame FFS.

What a right phuckin mess we're in. Fighting to bide 7th we the SSBs and the Bent B@stards sniffing up oor erse. We shouldna even be speaking about this. It just shouldna be happening. The performances on the pitch are as bad as the pitch itself.

MOTM for me Fatah

If that's true then I can only assume there's been a falling out.

Because wtf would you leave yourself with only Sapsford and Watters?

Unless you're a complete imbecile.
