Starting XI and formation for Saturday's visit of Neil McCann's revitalised side?
Online!

Im hoping that kick in the balls they got last week knocks the stuffing out of them tbh, also the guy John Jules went off with an injury that I dont see him recovering in time from.

Our record against Kilmarnock is stinking. Time to put one in the credit column.
Especially with the tactical genius Pundit (highlights) in the away dugout.

Is it possible the state of the pitch at Tannadice might work a wee bit in our favour. Killie are used to playing on a slicker artificial surface that won't have any discrepancies or areas that have a different bounce, which is in stark contrast to how the pitch at Tannadice will be at the moment?

Goodwin pre match comments
"Jim Goodwin has warned that the condition of the pitch at Tannadice could change the style of football Dundee United play against Kilmarnock.
Heavy rainfall in recent weeks has forced the postponement of two games and left the playing surface in poor condition.
The team were able to play their Scottish Cup tie against Spartans in midweek, though the damage to the grass was visible, and with the Premiership match on Saturday and another against Aberdeen on Tuesday, there's no time for it to recover.
That will affect United's approach, Goodwin admitted.
"The pitch is not ideal and plenty has been made of that," the United manager said.
"But we have to find solutions in terms of potentially changing up how we want to play a little bit.
"You saw on Wednesday with some of the passes that were played into midfield, it's difficult for the players to control.
"We might have to change our approach slightly, play a little bit more percentage football and take that risk element out of it."
‐-------------------
I'm puzzled, is he signalling that we're going to play hoofball to Watters?Because the pitch didn't stop Spartans playing football through midfield?
How do you guys interpret those comments?

Word on the street is Agyei starts tomorrow and 3 at the back. Beaton the ref, get your money on at least one red card

Sounds like hoofball to me. We resorted to it on Tuesday night but I think thats because we were already down a man and we couldn't risk getting caught out at the back again or we might have been down to 9. With Beaton the ref on Saturday anything is possible.

We are well overdue beating this mob. They've beaten us home and away already this season. Despite them (imo) being a poorer side.
We haven't beaten them at Tannadice in 4 years, since this win under Liam Fox against (at the time) a Derek McIness led Killie.
Only 2 United players remain from the starting XI and the bench from that night.
Ross Graham and Craig Sibbald.

Word is that Agyei is starting in a 3-5-2, Beaton the ref so it's a recipe for disaster.
Also sounds like route one football judging by Jim's comments about the pitch. Trouble with that is our keeper can barely kick it past the halfway line.

Unfortunately it may well just be a reflection on how bad he was on Tuesday

Nah I'm sure he'd still be on the bench if so. On the plus side Killie will be missing John Jules more than we miss Stirton.

Wasn't worse than Watters though.

Tannadice is in some mess. It looked bad on Tuesday but today it’s properly wrecked.

You have to wonder if we'll get manage to get Tuesday on after 90+ minutes of tearing this up even more.

Sibbald off with a hamstring injury. Hopefully not serious

Pish penalty from Fatah.

Thought it was an okay half. Fatah looking pretty bright until we missed the pen.
Really hoping Sibbs coming off was a precaution.
Watters so pish I almost miss Moller.

A pitch in that state, a team we never beat and we miss a fucking golden opportunity. Just so United really isn't it?
