What's Iovu supposed to do, stand out of he's road.

Tackle him. Win the ball?

Agree.
Don't know if he has reading the game and good clean tackle in his locker.
Hate to say this of one of our own but he reminds me of Lurch lumbering around.

Agree about Ferry and Vice- Captaincy.
Senior player being petulant is the last thing we need. Divisive.
Should have been let go if the word on the Whitecaps was correct.

Possibly, but yet again Strains very high position in a 343 leaves Iovu completely exposed.  Don't think Strain is even seen in the still photos of the incident.

Yeah but Iovu is still goalside of the player and simply has to do better, truth is his first instinct is a foul most times and gives away free kicks for fun. He could have just tried to actually win the ball or he could have tried to force the guy out wide giving Graham the chance to cover properly.  You're not wrong of course and it's just another clear as day example of 3 at the back not working.

Zac Sapsford has looked genuinely unwell past couple of games. I know Goodwin said that he had a bug a while ago, but is he playing through illness?

He done his ankle in against Ayr in the last round. He only trained once before the hearts game (he would’ve missed St Mirren at home). He also had the flu as well, so playing through illness and the pain barrier is probably catching up with him.

United not appealing the red card for Iovu, tbh I'm glad as it improves our prospects no end.

Re: Dundee United vs Spartans - Saturday 7th February

I can't seem to work out if it's 2 yellows or 3 for a Scottish cup suspension.  Fatah himself has said he's suspended but when I Google the matter it keeps telling me it's 3 yellow cards not 2. Anyone else know wtf ?

Re: Dundee United vs Spartans - Saturday 7th February

The 3 card suspensions are for teams that play in the earlier rounds, unfortunately for us it's 2 cards.
