Fair play to Hearts here I think.  He's not going to get much of a game this season and there is no reserve/youth league up here which is going to improve him.  Presumably the lad thinks he'd be better doing that too.

I guess I'm just perturbed he's a full Scotland cap. It wasn't always that easy.
 

Agreed on the cap front.  It was Old Firm levels of hype for him last year.  He's a prospect though just needs time and the right support.  Who knows what is right nowadays and London is a bit of a scary place for an 18 yr old, but good luck to him.  There are a lot of good Scottish prospects at the moment - really quite refreshing after years of nothing much.  I'm led to believe the boy Glasgow at Rangers is some player - hope he can make the step up.

Let me summarise.  Shaik said something that could be construed as racist.  ADS called him out on it.  Shaik protests his innocence.  ADS isnae so sure - don't think that's necessarily shocking in the circumstances.  I'd put Shaik's post down to a bit of unconscious bias and given the banter nature of a footie board, I'd be giving Shaik the benefit of the doubt and hope that he'd realised that his comment could be construed adversely and that he'd think twice before making a similar unintended error of judgement.
