Met office has a fair bit of rain forecast throughout the week. One to keep an eye on given we survived two pitch inspections on Saturday.

Met office has a fair bit of rain forecast throughout the week. One to keep an eye on given we survived two pitch inspections on Saturday.
Hopefully we get the rain covers on nice and early.

Thankfully hasn’t rained in the last 13 hours and it’s been very windy, hopefully that’ll dry the pitch today at least.

Rain went off about 11am, it's blown through at times, but possibly more coming in about 8-9 pm

Rain’s been off since 18:00, it’s been about 25mph wind so the pitch for the last 3 hours has gotten a good dry out at least.

Gonna be a test of an already compromised pitch in the worst of Winter.

It would be good to get back to 1970s style pitches. Less back and forth passes. Ball out wide onto the grassy areas of the pitch and hopefully a few more penalty box stramashes.

Sadly, my initial reaction is this might help us. We seem to average 20-30% possession and punt the ball up the pitch a lot. Will hurt teams wanting to pass and keep the ball.
