Your in a sorry state when the boy who looked like our brightest spark at the start of the season canna even get in the squad cause he doesn’t track back, think that maybe shows exactly where the problem lies.
That was genuinely a fucking pathetic game plan, complete loser mentality
Getting new players in won’t change the fact he’s far to negative and we have no idea what to do when we have possession of the ball
Offline
Utterly pointless, should have forfeited a 0-3 and saved the bother.
Absolutely zero f***s will be given as the standards have now fallen to rock bottom and it's all about self preservation.
Cue a swoonfest on how amazing Celtic are when that c**t and his players should be refunding the Arabs that went through to watch that pish.

Sick of hearing from Goodwin about how good our recruitment was in the summer. Only Sapsford and Camara have been good, Fatah in flashes. Some of the summer signings are absolute shite.

Absolute shite! Goodwin needs to fuck off, absolutely pathetic performance and tactics. Just get him right to fuck
Offline

He'll be in big trouble next week if we dinna beat Ayr Utd.
Offline

I’ve even sickened myself writing the usual Goodwin out, don’t give him another window etc (boys will be happy at that)
But it’s clear as day he’s finished. IMO he has been for a while but it’s beyond that now.
That starting of Stirton today was a “if we get pumped it’s fine, the fans wanted him starting”
Time really is up Jim. Tender your resignation tonight.
You fucking loser.

Still don’t think it’s that bad, we’ve have good players being told to play negative shite

It's soul destroying and completely draining as a fan because after every defeat where we've lost the game in the first half you find yourself thinking what if we'd actually played football instead of hoofball in that first half.
My only reservation is can Capuano and Ogren be trusted to find us a decent coach of football..

I've had it. I want him out too. But, I want Ogren out more.

Do you have the bawbees to make this happen, or know someone who does and wants to make it happen?
Me neither.

Only caught 20 minutes of the game and it wasn't a good watch. Think what's frustrating about Goodwin is he appears to recognise the issues week to week in post game press conferences but doesn't seem able to fix them. At best, he'll fix one problem only for another issue to arise. The stubbornness of sticking to 3 at the back being part of the problem IMO.
Think I'm beginning to head the same way as others here. Have nothing against Goodwin, but it's beginning to feel like he's taken us as far as he can.

Sorry, but that was an absolute and utter disgrace of a 'performance' today.
We have all seen us beaten at Celtic Park over the years (and beaten well at times), but that was something else today. It felt like an 'attack vs Defence' training drill, where we had no intention of ever having a go. The possession stats about 25-30 minutes in were Celtic 89% Utd 11%. I have never seen the like in my life. That is Junior club standard. Auchinleck Talbot will have more of the ball next weekend.
The players look demoralised and disconnected. Three of our big Summer signings nowhere to be seen today (Watters, Dolcek and Esselink) just days after a 4th was sold (Kucherencko). Lays bare the 'success' of our Summer recruitment.
Very much feels like things are disintegrating rapidly and we're in a 'Death Spin'.
Lose to Ayr at home next week and Goodwin should lose his job. As it is, i don't see how he turns this around. The writing very much feels like it's on the wall. Tired excuses in his Post-Match interview and it looks like he knows it.
My Player ratings on a pitiful afternoon in the East End of Glasgow.
Richards 6 - Made a couple of good stops, particularly the instinctive save from Maeda which he tipped on to the bar. But then he reminds us all why he never played for St.Johnstone for a full season and only played twice for us last season as he weakly palms away Tounetki's crawler into the path of a grateful Daizen Maeda for their 4th. The game was over as a contest long before then, but the point is, he has a big mistake in him every other game. Not good enough, even to be No.2
Sevelj 6 - Surprisingly lasted 78 minutes when it looked like he would come off injured after only 5 minutes. Hopefully he hasn't aggravated his injury. Didn't do anything particularly wrong on the afternoon. Just another one chasing shadows.
Graham 6 - Tried his best, as per, but couldn't do anything to stem the wave of Celtic attacks.
Kerestezs 6 - See above comments.
Sibbald 4 - Absolutely anonymous all afternoon. A ghost. Folk have jumped the gun with talk of him getting a new deal imo.
Stepehnson 5 - Another poor performance from him. What has happened to early season Luca?
Camara 5 - I said last week was his worst United performance. Changed my mind, today was. Chasing shadows and 2nd to everything. Also partly to blame for their first 2 goals, hence why he never came out 2nd half. Another one in a long line of players you can ask 'what has happened to him'? Is he not fit? If so, wtf is he playing.
Ferry 5 - He can go to Vancouver. I'll happily drive him there. Defensively weak, physically weak and positionally all too often wanting. His attacking play used to paper over the cracks, but these days he'll maybe put in one good delivery a match, if you're lucky.
Naamo 4 - I praised him after his performance at Livi, as even though his end product was terrible, he was attempting to get forward at least. A big wake up call today. He looked like a little boy lost defensively and a rabbit in the headlights offensively. His miss first half (when Ferry put in his one cross of the match) absolutely weak and pathetic. Believe in yourself ffs.
Sapsford 5 - Fairly anonymous, but a thankless task being upfront with a 19 year old at Parkhead and at the same time being asked to run the channels and track back. He must be thinking of his next move already.
Stirton 6 - A lot of people have said he's not ready to lead the line for DUFC, and they're probably not wrong, but here's the kicker, he's still offering more than Max Watters and Nikolaj Moller. Made his own two chances today. Firstly sharply anticipating a Celtic pass out of defence. It subsequently looked a terrible miss given he was one on one, but seeing it back the ball just stuck a bit under his feet and by the time he got it on to his right foot Liam Scales had made a superb recovery block. His second chance he shows good hold up play, physicality, but then snatches at his shot on the turn. All forgivable. I think if he was given a similar run of games and minutes that was afforded to Moller, then he'd get sharper, more confident and start scoring some of these chances. Unfortunately, we probably won't.
Subs -
Fatah 7 - Our best player on the day. Missed a good chance at the end when he failed to anticipate a good cross to him in space in their box, but otherwise looked the only man in a tangerine and black shirt who looked like he knew what a football was.
Trapanovski 5 - One trick pony. Zero end product despite his pace. Never beats the first man, even with a cross.
Moller 4 - Anonymous, again.
Eskesen 6 - I've been on the boys back constantly all season. You know what, that was his best cameo in a United jersey today. Not that he done too much, but he looked tidy enough on the ball, seemed to want it more and played one superb slide rule pass to Trapanovski in the box, that of course he fucked up. Interestingly looked like his face was tripping him at Full Time and looked like he was having a bit of a pissed off rant to Celtic's, Sebastian Tounetki. Both played together at Haugesund in Norway.

Glad you delivered a couple of 4s this week. They're well deserved.

I can just about accept getting pumped at parkhead sometimes because of the difference in resources and the return of their “messiah”. What I can’t accept is the manner of defeat we keep getting under Goodwin. Exactly like Steve Clark (who I would have binned right after the Denmark game), it is negative, don’t lose pish with yesterday about 15 or 20% possession.
See if we had a real go against a team on one of their worst runs in decades and probably very low in confidence and a shite defence - I don’t think we would have lost by more than 4 goals and may have gotten something. The way we set up we shouldn’t have bothered showing up and just given them the points.

Yep, just take Macclesfield as an example of what can be achieved if you have a fucking go instead of just bending over and taking it up the arse with a pleasant and accommodating smile.

Soon as the team was announced my mate txts me “ Gutless selection “ and a gutless performance was what we got.
0 shots on target ffs.
Feel sorry for the travelling fans.

From Godwin’s pre match love in comments I am sure he would not be against that.

I was there. I went without expectation. I don't want a refund. The hope was Celtic would still be recovering from Nancy and could be vulnerable. It was clear after the first 10 minutes that this wasn't going to be the case. Celtic played well. We had a gameplan, but individual errors meant it didn't pan out. I don't think it was a case of 'having a go'. We tried to contain and didn't. I don't think we were playing hoofball out of tactics they were just far better than us. On that form, they will win the league. They'd have thumped anyone on Saturday including Rangers and Hearts. My take on performances:
Richards 4 - he instils no confidence in the back line and has no ability to parry a shot round the post (as we have seen for weeks now). We need a goalie in this window.
Sevelj 6 - Probably crocked before, definitely crocked during the game. Stuck to his task and not really to blame for any of the goals.
Graham 5 - Didn't do a whole lot wrong, but if he wants to be captain he needs to show more leadership
Kerestezs - 4 - Probably his worst game for me. Didn't do a lot wrong but the game seemed to pass him by.
Sibbald - 5 - chasing shadows. Just up against better players. Did his job, but when others don't very exposed.
Stephenson 5 - puts himself about and did his job, but he's in danger of not finding a position that is his. I am not sure midfield battler plays to his skills.
Camara 2 - back to not looking like a footballer. At fault for this first 2 goals and not disciplined enough to play the system and gameplan. Gets drawn into the wrong bit of the park for the first leaving Yang with too much space and then fails to track his man for Engels to run clean in for an effective tap in. Blew the gameplan and rightly hooked at half time.
Ferry 6 - actually thought he had an OK game despite the scoreline. Generally stuck to his task - most of our issues came down the right side.
Nammo 3 - defensively not strong enough but thought he was up against their best player today. He's fine going forward but got caught in two minds for his chance. We'd have been better starting Strain.
Sapsford 4 - showed how much he is still to learn. Gave 100% as usual, but nothing came off for him. Needs to learn how to hold the ball more.
Stirton 6 - he's got a bit about him and on another day he scores twice. Saturday was not that day and bar those two chances did nothing. I'd have started Watters, I think he would have held the ball better and would just have been more streetwise. We've got a player in Stirton though but not ready for that role on Saturday.
Subs -
Fatah 7 - should have started in my view. The only player that looked capable of causing them issues.
Trapa 4 - difficult to judge. Game had long gone, but he definitely measures up poorly against that level of opposition.
Strain 5 - better than Nammo.
Moller and Eskesen - left after the 4th when Richards showed his inability to do the basics again so can't comment.
Contrary to the majority views on here I think the gameplan was correct, but the team selection was wrong. However all it needed was one player failing and the whole thing was gone. There was no plan B but to be honest once plan A was holed below the water the ship was sinking regardless. If we'd played more freely it would have been 7 or 8. We are simply not at their level when they turn up. They turned up.
It does however add to the pressure on Goodwin. Win against Ayr is (and always would have been) a must and we now need to take 3 points from St Mirren at home or some of the Jim out chat starts to be justifiable.

This sort of balanced realism will never catch on. C'mon man we lost the Derby got gubbed at the Champions. Get both Goodwins sacked , Ogren is clueless, close the Academy, the as yet unsigned Barnsley boy is shite ....

Richards
Naamo
Cleall-harding
Graham
Kerestzes
Ferry
Luca
Sevelj
Sibbald
Fatah
Sapsford
5-4-1.
I’d have the back 5 camped within 10 yards of Richards box and they’d be staying there the full 90. No messing, if it needs to go into row Z then so be. I’d have Sibbald and Vicko playing box to box & hit anything that moves. I’d have Fatah and Luca tracking back all game and Sapsford ready to get in behind their defence.
That defensive team I’ve just named plays better on Saturday than the one jim trained with all week and picked.
