On the basis that you can be serious on any Elon Musk video he looks Trappaesque tae me . All right foot, cuts in. Trappa never gets a fair crack of the whip. We can do better. Get the goalie sorted.

Heard we’re still pushing heavily for the Kazakh winger we were linked with a few weeks ago. They all do but he looks very good in this video.
I'd heard that one was 'dead in the water' due to his Agent constantly moving the goalposts, money wise.
It would be a helluva coup to get him. The boy looks dynamite.

I hope we have contingency plans in place and are not just chasing this winger. Same goes for other potential losses like Ferry.

I'm not even looking at videos of this lad or anyone else, we should be keeping our targets as quiet as possible.
Absolute priority is a keeper. We can't go on like this. It's reached breaking point.
Priority 2 is a replacement for Pappoe. The midfield has been problematic with Camara's absences through injury.

Any keeper deal should really be in place for 10 Jan as it should be getting worked on now (unless the loan numbers are an issue). If a new goalkeeper isn’t in place by then I think we’re going with what we’ve got as I can’t see us buying a keeper who’s currently playing regularly so anyone we’re buying should be available right away.

Was mentioned by Alan Temple on the Twa Teams podcast, a hint that we're working on it, most likely a loan. I'm wondering if it might be Zander Clark but that's just a guess.
Does anyone know if that means we'd have to terminate an existing loan to make space?

Think we would sign KK, don’t think there’s a big out lay on that one, like him too he’s got sumin bit saft at times though

Owen Stirton has just penned a new deal.
Hoping we bring in another GK
Backup LB/WB for Ferry
CM (more attacking minded/playmaker)
Striker
Hopefully we move the following players on:
Kucherenko
Dolcek
Moller

Player we should be looking at. Michael Noonan, striker from Shamrock Rovers. 17 year old, has pace, skill, power and a free agent from 30/11/2026.

Did anyone notice there was no place on the bench for Kucherenko this week. Anything in that or is Jim reacting to the fall out about having 2 keepers on the bench.

Hopefully it was because Kucherenko’s on his way to Cyprus.

Looks like Hearts are going to sign Ramires from Riga.

The January Window is officially OPEN.
Happy New Year everyone. Hopefully 2026 is one that finally brings us a bit of silverware after so many barren years.

They were also interested in Kenzhebek who now looks like he’s signing for a team in Russia. So you can look at it two ways; 1 - it is disappointing as most players are gonna join Hearts over us given the choice, and 2 - our own data analysis is unearthing the same players that Tony Bloom’s infamous system is finding. That can only be a positive.

Last January - Allan Campbell, Lewis Fiorini and Rhuri Paton.
Three signings that unbelievably made us weaker.
We must do better this January, and also be ready to make quick replacements if one of our better players departs, as it is quite evident that two or three of our better players (Camara, Sapsford, Fatah) make us tick and there is little or nothing on the bench (from middle to front anyway).

Can anyone remember the last time we had a good January window? Have we ever? I'm not hopeful, but I'm less concerned about relegation this time at least.

The 1st? January window under Neilson was decent, the players we brought in got us close, and those were the foundation for the season after. (I think)
But generally we get it so wrong. I wonder if there's any budget left to do much, I'd have thought Pappoe would've returned to his parent club, but i've seen suggestions they rejected it.

Pappoe, Watters and Dolcek loans hopefully cut & Kucherenko loaned or punted. The first is unlucky, he looked a good player. The middle two are a pair of lazy uninterested wasters. Kucherenko just needs to be moved on imo.
Striker, attacking mid and goalkeeper in.
Three loan spaces created so get Lyall Cameron and Craig Gordon (or Zander Clark) in on loan. Find a striker that can score 5-6 goals before the end of the season that can put us towards the top 6.

I just dont get the hate for Watters tbh, I think he brings something to the table. He's already shown he can find the net and just needs to get fully fit and stay that way. Having said that,he's only on loan so it's not the end of the world if he doesn't work out I suppose. I've no idea what's happened with Dolcek though,it's baffling.

Hopefully we've been scouting a replacement for Will Ferry whether it be this window or next.
Goalkeeper is essential, we just can't go on like this although credit to Dave for his efforts. We need a better keeper. Maybe a short term loan til the summer when we can go again with free agents. Fly out and watch them a few times please.
Then it's midfield. We need to replace Pappoe. With Camara's availability issues we need to strengthen there.
3 in. No gambles.
Not wishing to start a new year affray by naming names but any duds aff the bandwagon would also be a bonus.

Some foreign players don't adapt to their surroundings, a new country a new city different food, different team mates, and some just can't handle a dreich Scottish winter.
Some dont like being hooked off for not tracking back and covering space out of possession, then telling the manager that's not how they play.
Pure guess work that last bit but I'm willing to bet that's what happened.

You're willing to die on that Watters hill 😄
I'm the author of the #Haddie 2 but in his defence I would say he looks a different player from the one that scored against Rapid and Falkirk. Looks either out of condition or unfit and either of those should be keeping him out of the team until the issue is resolved.
