I’m properly gutted and tbh can’t comment on the match itself. We almost put Rapid Vienna out of Europe and were in the play offs. To a man i salute them, what an effort. I fear Sapsford is out for a while, what a game he had till ht.
That announcer should be sacked of his duties or resign immediately. He absolutely tried to make it all about himself and even the ref told him to turn it off. An absolute embarrassment which no doubt made an already nervous young Fatah even more nervous. I’ve always found that dode fox podcast to be weird.

It's not often you can be so dissapointed and so proud all at once.
The team and fans gave their absolute all over the two legs and came so close to toppling one of the better teams in the competition.
I hope the players realise that they could do something really special this season and push to avenge that result.
Once we have everybody fit. We will be some team

Couldn't have put my own feelings into better words than this.

After two phenomenal games, against Austria’s best side, the hard thing is the come down.
Scottish Referees, ignoramus pundits, the white trainer fraternity and visiting Livingston just doesn’t appeal. But if this is the high point in the season, what a high.

I hope the players can maintain that level of performance, grit and determination for the 'lesser' games against Livi, Dundee and, err, well, Livi and Dundee!
I just hope that the will to win doesn't drop now there's no European games to act as a carrot.

Nights like last night will be an incentive for the players to qualify again this season I'm sure. With a fully fit squad (If we ever have one) we can be a match for anyone in this league on our day. There's still plenty left to play for, starting on Sunday. I just hope the players can pick themselves up and go get us into the next round.

If we apply ourselves on Sunday like how we did last night, we can get through.

If you think that Ronny left the music on longer on purpose then you are having a laugh.
He is fantastic at what he does, and his podcast is always a great listen. One mistake at an important time will hurt him more than anyone. To suggest he should be sacked is poor.

That possible mistake from him has potentially cost us millions mate.

C'mon folks eh, are we really blaming the boy that plays the music for Fatah missing that pen
He's a professional football player, and yes he's young and probably felt the pressure but c'mon, it was a ba hair away from being a great pen.
Shit happens, better players than Fatah have missed pens.
I know we are all emotional after that game but personal abuse and blaming him for that is a bit uncalled for,

They are a good side but they are definitely not the best side in Austria they haven't even made top 3 in league for over 5 years I think it is, I also see alot of people say on x today they are as good as celtic, celtic would destroy them, rangers in Europe would probably beat them as well, not dissing them they are a very very decent side but definitely knowhere near as good as people are saying

Absolutely 100% agree. You'd think he would read the room and hand in his notice right away. Have no comment on the podcast myself as I have never listened to it, but from what I have heard from people who listen, is that it is very weird and that one of them is arrogant and is dreadfully up his own arse. Apparently it is not the DJ though and he is picking up this attitude from the other.
What has confirmed his utter incomptence for me was playing "this is how it feels to be lonely" as we left and players went down the tunnel. Just an utter buffoon who should jump before he is pushed.

It wasn’t a great pen and a lot of that is on fatah but the 15 second delay by the music certainly wouldn’t of helped.

Would have been a great pen if it was an inch to the left, small margins mate. I hope he gets over it quickly, a goal on Sunday would do his confidence a world of good.

Our first goal btw was fucking excellent, Watters proving his doubters at Barnsley wrong. Gets into good positions to give himself opportunities, signs of a good striker in my opinion. Would be good business to try and do a permanent deal sooner rather than later.

I thought he played quite well last night, definitely a player in there

I thought the referee kept control of the game and let it flow without constant stoppages for minor infringements.
I thought he was Reg Hollis of The Bills twin brother

You don’t notice European refs. You noticed Dickinson last Sunday after 5 minutes.

It is the DJ who’s the arrogant one, the other podcaster, Paul is a lovely bloke and has time for abody.

When I said “Austria’s best side” I meant from a historical perspective. They have won more Bundesliga titles than any other team. I would point out that they beat the current champions, Sturm Graz last Sunday.
In terms of whether or not Celtic would “destroy” them is a moot point. Everyone has an opinion.
What is not in doubt is the Austrian Bundesliga has a higher coefficient than the SPL.
I do feel personally that in both games we played against Rapid we were vastly better than the draw we got last December at home to Celtic.

I was thinking similar about our performance against Celtic earlier when i was watching them vs Falkirk tonight. I’m thinking we could do them but then i remembered they love to turn it on against us. It’s not even paranoia anymore, they genuinely love to turn up and pump us.
